  1. I really like the Walther PPQ and PDP line of pistols. Great triggers, and great shooters. I am I the only one that really like these? I see very few for sale at the local gun shops.
  2. Still available. It is 9mm. I am open to cash offers. I also like to trade.
  3. I would be interested in an ACR
  4. Like new Staccato CS with RMRcc, DLC barrel, curved trigger and holster. This has the compact grip. $3000 obo Dealing Pending
  5. Who has first hand experience with a piston driven POF 308? What was the model? Accuracy, reliability and weight? Thanks in advance.
  6. Like new and unfired, the fix by Q. 308 win, original box, magpul magazine. Very lightweight, I have decided to go a different route. Would consider a Scar 17s or Scar 20s, or nice handguns in trade. I can give boot if necessary. $3000 obo i will consider other trades as well. Thanks.
  7. The paper forms suck when you have to do it by hand. In your case, there is a fillable pdf that makes it easier. You can find it on the ATF website. This last transfer was written by hand.
  8. I bought a rifle/silencer combo the first week of April. Form 4 to Form 4 must be paper so I immediately filled out the form 4, did my own finger prints (pack of blue cards from Amazon and an ink pad), got some passport photos from Walgreens. From the ATF wait time web site, paper copies is 156 days. ATF got it turned around in about 5 weeks.
  9. New and unfired Henry Big Boy large loop in 327 federal, also 32 H&R mag $900 obo
  10. Like new Tavor TS12 ga with magpul buis, original box, $1000 obo I am in Sparta, TN I like to trade if you know how to trade if you know how to trade. Thanks.
  11. Do an electronic form 1, send in the $200 tax and fingerprint cards (you can do those for yourself at home). The electronic form 1 is super easy.
  12. I usually attend the gun show in Sparta every time. I have seen holsters vendors come and go. About 1 in 15 people are looking for a holster but are usually too cheap to spend money on quality.
  13. Per our conversation, trade pending
  14. Like new Uberti CMS El Patron 45, the action is smooth, 3 1/2" barrel, $650 obo I am in Sparta, TN and travel to Cookeville frequently. Really nice gun, but I have decided I need something different.
  15. I owned Highland Rim Tactical which closed in 2017 due to a fire at my house. If any of you remember me from the Sparta gun show, say Hi! Life gets in the way and I have been away from TN gun owners for several years. Hopefully I am back on more frequently.
  16. The enhanced ccw gives you the option to carry concealed or open. It also has the ability to carry in other states that have an agreement with TN. Like originally stated about 35 different states. TN maintains a map on the web site that clearly marks those states. The enhanced HCP can be accepted as a legal ID, and a great way to show proof of not being a criminal for private sales. I think that the classroom material is more thorough than the online material and there is a live fire requirement for the enhanced HCP.
  17. Has anyone everhad any dealings with Ciener from 22lrconversions.com? Several years ago I was looking for a 22 kit for an ACC556 and looked into the ciener kits. After some reseach, I found that his business practices were shady at best. It looks like someone has finally reacted and he has been arrested for fraud. Hopefully this is signaling a change in law enforcement to finally charge these scamers that think it is ok to take money and never deliver product. Check out the link to the news story... newsbrevardtimes: Brevard County Sheriff's Office Raids Gun Conversion Manufacturer
  18. It is the same all over teh state. I have known police officiers to speed, reckless driving, driving drunk, etc... and all they have to carry is the badge in their wallet. If they get pulled over by a fellow officier even in another county they are given a pass. It is like an unspoken rule. Now I know that there are people who will say ' not on my watch' and I say good for you. However, it was my experience that there are officiers that do these things and expect to get a pass if caught. The problem is that they do it period.
  19. If you want to get the most from your 1911 then you need to consider the full size 5" version in 45 ACP. If you think that you may want to change it in the future you need to consider a couple of things like how the front sight is installed. Dovetailed front sights make changing the sights easier and less costly. Most Colts have a pinned front sight which require special tools or a trip to the gunsmith. Also look at the lowered and flared ejection port which is stand for Kimbers, Springfields, etc... but Colt does not have. If you plan on carrying then you need low profile sights like the Novak style on the springfields. As you can tell from the many replies there is lots of love and hate for certain products. I would recommend the TRP but the Springfield triggers are not the best. The ones that I have owned have alot of creep and needs to have a trigger job performed to becomed great. Do not get me wrong, they are good out of the box but not great. Out of the box the Kimbers have the best trigger. The Kimbers are also a little easier to sell if you do not like it. However do not expect to go to the gun shop and pay 'new' price, plus tax and $10 then expect to sell the Kimber for what you paid. Once you buy new expect 70-80% back on the price that you paid new. %50 percent on accessories. Basically my top three recommendations are the TRP, Kimber Custom II, Springfield Loaded Series

    .327 mag??

I would recommend the 327 magnum for a woman to carry. Look around and I am sure that you will find some decent priced ammo for her to try it out. She probably doesn't need to shoot it 1000 times to become proficient enough with it either. The advantage over the 38 special revolvers is that the 327's hold 6 rounds instead of 5 rounds. Also like the other post said, you have the option of using some lighter 32 caliber loads. CDNN had some good deals on taurus 327 revolvers last time I checked. Just my opinion.
