  1. It was funny, my panties are not in a wad. I did not prove anyones point. I was just trying to be funny back.
  2. I've gotta muster up some faith to put this Colt 1903 back together. See ya.
  3. I'm not sure if sorry is a strong enough word.....
  4. This is some deep stuff. TMMT-Thank you for what you have done for others.
  5. That's sad. I kinda' did too. That's how I ended up in that pit. Just a tiny seed of faith helped pull me out. I don't think I'll ever loose it again.
  6. Both, more spiritual than religious. God pulled me from a pretty deep pit. My faith brings me much happiness. I'm not all that hung up on the Jesus thing and my church pushes some liberal crap that I don't support, but I go and I learn and hang out with some really nice people. I saw a cool bumper sticker the other day...HIGHER POWERED.
  7. My .380 WWB is packaged the same as the .40. Hmmmm.
  8. It all makes sense now. Thanks ammoman!
  9. If you need .380 JHP, Cabela's has Fiocchi brand $25 for 50. It's nickel Star-Line cases loaded with Hornady XTP bullets. Cabela's -- Store
  10. Cornbread and ice tea took the place of pills and 90 proof. Gave up booze years ago, ciggs too.
  11. You are a wise young man. It took me awhile.
  12. Ya know, it's funny. But then, it's not really.

    Dirty Ammo

I always wash my ammo before heading out to the range. Never no when you might get into an accident.
  14. The single most important thing is finger/trigger control. If you are not 100% sure you can draw and re-holster the gun w/o touching the trigger then don't chamber a round until you are. Nothing wrong with keeping the chamber empty for awhile until you are comfortable. There is some good and bad advice in this thread. Do what you are comfortable with.
  15. I'm pretty sure if you got out and locked the car and told the cop he had no right to look in it, you would go to jail or at least be sitting in his back seat for some time. It's best to cooperate, even if they're being rude.
  16. Good advice above on the felon and age requirements. I always use a bill of sale like this, there are many on the web... Xavier Thoughts: Firearms Bill of Sale
  17. May God bless your family.
  18. Don Hume Open Top Belt Holster (H721 OT)
  19. Looks like a Taurus/Hi-Point Glock wannabe. But then again, it's cool.
  20. Dang, don't bother inviting me to your family reunion.
  21. "The worst thing that may happen if police respond is being asked to take your gun to your car" I don't think that's the worst that could happen. You could be looking at lawyer's fees, court time and a fine. If you cop an attitude you could go to jail. Even worse, it makes the paper and hurts "our" image.
  22. I think Ayoob is right on this subject. His paragraph makes a lot of sense. OC is a bad idea for our cause. So is showing your ass in a place that doesn't allow weapons. We have it good in Tennessee. Let's not blow it by being cowboys and giving the Bloombergs ammo to use against us. We hope to get "all" parks open to HCPs. Somebody going OC in a park could ruin that. The general public is not ready for that, and they vote.
