1. When I ordered the crown cutting tool, I saw the the MidwayUSA/Potterfield video.  Looks like fun.  I'll end up with a 20" 700 BDL.
2. So, someone could have damaged it with a jag or rod and gas did the damage you see in the picture.  I'll buy that.  I have not shot the rifle, knowing it would not shoot well. The damaged area is higher than the land which could raise pressure in that area.  I bought it with the idea of cutting it down two inches.
3. Help me out. Does anyone know what this is? It's near the muzzle on an old Rem700 .30-06, the rest of the barrel looks clean with a bore scope. ">http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/75932-test-photo-upload/
4. If I can't get Critical Defense, I use Fiocchi w/XTPs. 9mm and .380. The last bunch I got used Starline Ni-brass. Really good stuff, IMHO.
5. I never understood why people will buy a nice gun then feed it crap for ammo.
6. My God, I've got ammo all over the house. Long term storage in a lockable old civil defense locker though.
7. I get .1 or better from mine measured with a digital scale. I ran some graphite through mine to lube and de-static. I'd try throwing until it improves. Ball powder?
8. 1962 Pontiac Sky Chief.....wide trac
9. I'd recommend a revolver for your 1st handgun. Glock style guns are not for beginners.
10. I just bought a new gun at Austin's. Couldn't get the takedown pin out. "Nothing we can do" was the stores response so it's been sent to Miami for repair, 4-6 weeks. Next gun I buy I'll takedown in the store to inspect before I buy.

Wal-Mart....wtf

I can't believe this thread is still alive.
12. I too visually check each case for head stamp, condition, and primer hole. I would throw away any 9x18 brass that went through a 9x19 die and check my die for damage. I throw each charge and double check powder level. I don't trust a auto-disk measure yet with small charges like those in 9mm. The consequences are too great. I still consider myself a rookie (about 500 rounds) and I'm very careful and read a lot.
13. Welcome to Tennessee. Why Smithville?
14. Indeed this is true. I buy almost all my ammo online.
15. :screwy:Chill out dude. Some of us married women who can think. They are partners, not subjects.
16. Welcome. That's "patron" state......
17. I think I'm gonna cry.:clap:Good post.
