This is a very good point I have found myself either carrying my 4 yo son in my left arm(I'm a lefty by the way)or I will tote bags in my left hand and I will quickly change arms or hands.ALWAYS keep your fighting hand free.Things happen fast.

They have the best customer service,plus they go out of their way to employ the handicap,that means a lot to me having a disabled child.I will go out of my way to spend my dollars there.Plus they have good food to boot,haha.

There is a douche in Springfield that drives a mid 90's F-150 with a HCP badge license plate on his truck.I was at the mapco getting Gas and I saw it,he got out,had the HCP badge on a chain around his neck like an undercover officer.He was carrying a big a$$ 5" 1911 OC and 2 spare mags. I laughed at him,then I thought to myself.It is fools like him that give all the anti's ammo and hate against people like us on this board that DON'T act a fools ,to get our 2nd amendment rights frown on. AR-.223 870 Remington 12ga. 10/22 for plinking 1911 .45 in a 5" frame and a good Polymer frame .40 for carry (S&W -M&P)

I also get a Jit Slide for every gun when I buy them,BUT me being a lefty I cant find a left handed JIT for my M&P . So I use my XD JIT and it fits real nice.I am gonna see if they make a Agent 9 in a left hand version.

I have been thinking about what everyone has said,and I own 4 XD's and 2 1911 Springfield's,all that I purchased new.So I am gonna give them a call first and I would hope that they would take care of me.I don't see why they wouldn't.We will see .

Ok I will get you some pic of the carnage.I put this weapon through hell and it has performed flawless.I tell you a lot of people scoffed at the weapon when I brought it to all the classes ,but when I got done with it they changed their tune.

Well it is not your standard use it has been drug though mud,dirt,sand,water,all the possible bad elements you can think of.I took several Tactical shooting classes with it and a few of my friends used it to take the same class,the weapon has over 6000 rounds through it.I am the original purchaser and sent in my warranty card like I do with every new firearm I purchase.Me personally I don't think Springfield will warranty this finish it is not their fault I put the weapon though this.I will call Jeff at Guns & Leather to see what they offer . I have a XD 45 that has seen better days in the finish department.The Weapon is only a few months old but I have used it hard,what I bought it for.I was looking for a place local that does Nitron, Tennifer and Melonite.I don't mind sending the slide out ,but I like keeping my $$$$ local.

I really don't care if my weapon is spotted by anyone.I am not a criminal nor am I breaking the law. I carry my 5" Para SSP OTW in a Don Hume holster 80% of the time,and I have a weapon on me 100% of the time it might not be a firearm ,but there is one close.Now if I need to be concealed and no one needs to know I have a firearm I Carry my Kimber Ultra Carry II tucked in the waist.Have I carried into places where I shouldn't have,I don't know:rolleyes: but I felt safe while I was in there.

I just left ASP in Joelton and as of 3:45 they had 5 box's od 380 FMJ left on the shelf.FYI

I am in the market for a 3" 1911 really wanting the Springfield Micro compact ,but I am having a hard time finding one locally.I like Springfield because of their customer service and warranty.Plus I own several of their larger 1911's and 3 XD's. So that being said they are my first choice and a kimber would be my 2nd.So if anyone knows of any shops in the Middle TN area that has a 3" 1911.I would appreciate the heads up.oh ,no Para Warthogs please

My Dad uses a Fanny pack to carry his Kimber Pro Raptor II. I told him he was a fag ,but all he said was "I guess I'm a fag with a .45 then" .He carries it because he is a fat ass he said his "love handle " gets in the way of the gun? I myself would not use one.
