I am a buttcrack of dawn kind of guy as well...............my wife hates it . Seems like I can get more of me time before the kids get up...........some days I can get up go to town, workout, run some errands (one going by both Walmarts and looking at the ammo stock) and get back home before anyone in the house gets up . Anyway a long story short is that I will probably go early when I shoot...........

Well I wanted to update everyone. My wife and I tried the challenge tonight and I finshed in 19 minutes and ordered dessert afterwards. My wife had only a few bites left on her plate................she just could not choke it down.
-
OH.............okay..............I am with you now..................you all seem to have a great time. I like the jokes, smart comments, and good natured fun you all have on here. Looks like Norris would be a fun place to shoot and get to know fellow TGO'ers. I will see you all soon.
-
True........the sniping scene may have been a little off but I have always been interested in long range shooting and you can't get any better than the mighty Barrrett.
-
Welcome to TGO..........I am sure you will enjoy.
-
HAHA.....thought a picture was floating around on here with someone wearing headgear like your avatar?? Will that work?
-
You have to love the Barrett in the sniping scene.......right?
-
Welcome aboard...........nice to add more locals to the site. We want have to drive to far to trade .

Sadly the as new condition knives are the newest 6201 and the 71549L. The others are not really used as in sharpened but have set in an enviroment that has not been humidity controlled. They are in great shape but are tarnished somewhat.
-
You have to train for it.........
-
I agree as well and hope to trade with you some day. You have been very helpful to me on Knife advice. That is what the sight should be about........helping each other.
-
2 are new and the others are used...... Thanks for the link. Looks like I may be buying more than 1 gun when I find a buyer for the knives . I am very happy. Thanks Guys

Thanks for the information. Advice well taken. I really appreciate the time you spent. I can't say how much I like the TGO members.

Hello all. I have a few old Case knives of which I have no idea the value. I would like to sale and use the money to buy more of my hobby toys......you guessed it... guns. I have found the knives on Ebay but that is about all I have to go on and I really don't want to get burned. Is there any good sources I can use and are there any places around the Knoxville area that give decent money and can be trusted?? Thanks for any and all help.

Hello All, To all of you that frequent the Maryville area there is a new place to chow down. Hot Rods opened a few months ago and I just ate a 20 oz burger there.....yes you heard me correctly. They have 3 size burgers.......a 10 oz, a 20oz (King), and the 30 oz burger plus 1 pound of fries for the challenge.............that is my next meal. I will be put on the wall of Fame and get a free T-shirt. I will update once I try it . My wife is 5'7" 120 pounds and can eat as much as me. She shocks everyone. She is going to try the challenge with me as well.

I do look to bring my XD........oh you may mean my wife . I am very proud to have a wife that has interest in firearms as well as HOT (thanks for the compliment). She has been wanting to play with some of my toys........may have to introduce her to my AR and then put a 3 1/2" shell in my turkey gun and video it................just kidding she would kill me. I will be getting up there as soon as I can but will be tough with two daughters and 1 on two different basketball teams.

I do want to apologize for turing your thread into a hijack. Hope it didn't offend......especially if I am going to be shooting at Norris........don't need an accidental discharge while I am down range.
-
Sounds great to me. I think it will be well worth the 45 minute drive. The range is 100 yards or more.........correct?
-
Thanks. That sounds good to me. I assume it is open seven days a week and daylight to dark?? Sounds like you guys have a great time up there.
-
I had a couple of questions about Norris.........if you don't mind. I was going to post a thread but saw this. I have a buddy that is on the lake up there often and we thought about going there to shoot. Anyway, what are the rules, hours, membership fees, and anything else I may need to know. Thanks, Brian

Glad to have you aboard..............maybe you could become a sponsor and provide discounts to TGO members if and only if in need of an attorney ?????? -
I think a good combo set would be the XDsc with a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster (when your clothing will allow) and a Ruger LCP in a pocket holster for running a marathon, working out at the gym, or any other event when you may be wearing shorts and a tucked in t-shirt.
