Gang How much difference does a 3" barrel make to say a 9mm compared to a 4"? I read all over the web about it in the world of .38/.357 mostly it seems to steer folks away from snubbies. Is it a problem or a not an issue in autos? Thanks for your time. Joe W.

Names Joe, I'm in the Knox area. I drifted away from shooting after my Dad pasted in 95. I kinda drifting back with the idea of picking up my carry permit. I've shot for over forty years and did a good bit of reloading but never picked or bought a handgun for carry so at this I'm pure green. My first pick right now is a J frame .38. As I said I don't talk much but Dad always said keep your mouth shut and your ears open you'll learn more. I'll most likely have a few ? but mostly I'll enjoy listening to others.
