Something that has been rattling around in my head as I have been reading stuff on the net. Yes I know but this is really not :tinfoil: stuff. Right now we are focused on the possible bans, but all this talk of tighter background checks and mental health we need to make sure our Reps make everything known about what is in such bills. Keeping a gun from a true mental case may be fine but the burden of proof needs to fall to the Government and this includes financial restitution from any accusers if you need to seek council. A Doctor, ex-girlfriend/wife, or even just a coworker should not be able to point a finger and get you bundled up and disarmed before your shown proof and not the other way around.  This may be a back door that needs to be watched because as we know the left thinks we are all mental cases that need to be locked up anyway. Maybe make sure our Representatives know what limits the reach of such legislation may have so that the law abiding will not get swept up in some kind of frenzy. Just something rattling around in my head. I need to get it refined before it send it off. Thanks.     Joe W.

I know the law and understand the question, but I was raised old fashion. If they are stealing your property on your property then they are attacking your safe place (home). If they get away with it the next time they may be standing over your bed when you wake up. The adage that your stuff is not worth their life is true, nothing I have is worth a thief's life. On the other hand the fact that they are stealing it is worth their life. Given the law allowed it that is. As for kids stealing the kids toys, it should be legal to leave your boot print on the little thief's butt. Joe W.

Just a tid bit, I was looking through Florida’s statute on self defense because of something I saw about Zimmerman losing his Civil protection if there is a trial. Even if Zimmerman did start the fight and was getting his butt whipped self defense comes into play if Martin took it to the point that Zimmerman then feared for his life and was trying to escape but can’t. This is in 776.041 Use of force by aggressor in 2011 Florida Statutes. Just a thought. Joe W.

Call someone like roto rooter, if the line is not leaking a good mechanical cleaning will have it going for years. I've seen a lot of over priced Plumbers and some of them just think they are because they can spell it. I have been a Plumber for 35 years, the last 15 as a maintenance Plumber for a small college.
