the brass grommets i used feel like they weigh less than air lol. i sprayed one coat of silicon on one side and have to add a second coat then the two for the other side. once i get back to the other house i will take pics of it hanging up.

So I was looking for a tarp and after looking at a few I came to the conclusion that they are bulky and kinda heavy. I then looked at silicon impregnated ones and was turned off by the price. I was on another forum and came across someone who decided they would make their own and it came out with great results so I thought I would have a go at it myself. I stopped by Walmart and grabbed a queen sized set of digital camo sheets. I went with Q because I have a queen sized bed and figured I may as well make use of the fitted sheet and pillowcases LOL. After there I stopped by Academy Sports and grabbed 2 cans of Kiwi Heavy Duty Camp Dry and a package of brass grommets. Oh, the sheets come in a nifty little bag that can be as something to store stuff like food or something. Im gonna stitch a strap to it to make it easier to lug around. Anyways, tomorrow I am going to spray the sheet and wait a few days for it to cure and then I will test it out and let you know how it goes. In total I spent 40 bucks on everything. Here are the items and once I am done Ill post pics of the final product.
