  1. glad you are liking the G27 and that the front pocket carry worked out for you. i carry a S&W 642 in my right front pocket every day and love it...
  2. i'm afraid you'll be surprised if you ever pull the trigger on one...i've seen many 'yotes lost to the mighty HMR. a buddy of mine had one he just thought was the best varmint caliber ever, until he lost 3 in a row...
  3. ok, if that is the case what about this scenario...there is no set season on Coyotes...they are just like groundhogs, open all year round. what is a legal means if there is no other season open, say in late May, June, and July after turkey season has closed and before squirrel season opens?
  4. i dont think thats right, i'm pretty sure the rule is that when a big game season is open you have to hunt them with a big game legal caliber/rifle/handgun. i hunt them in the off season with just about everything, .223, .22-250, .243...you get the idea.
  5. thanks guys, i've found three magazines at the gunshow yesterday, so i'm good now. thanks again for all the info!
  6. anyone out there know of a website where i can get a fixed 10rd SKS magaizne? i have an SKS that is setup to use the removable mags, and i'd like to put it back in the original form with the fixed 10rd magazine. i've checked eBay and gunbroker but havent found anything yet. i'm going to the gunshow tomorrow to look for one, but thought i'd post on here in case i cant find one... thanks, Chris
  7. why thank you! i guess i am a witch...

    my AK

thats a sweet looking AK! i have a Millett SP1 reddot and i love it. i also like the Bushnell Holosights...
  9. that looks so sweet!!! i love it... where does one go about getting a rifle like that? what caliber does it shoot?
  10. hahaha...i've tried 1911's and they just dont feel right in my hands. the Glocks however feel just right!
  11. my G27 is riding in your front pocket now... i kinda miss it and may get another one down the road but i'm super happy with the SKS and the MAK 90!
  12. Went out to the shooting range yesterday with the family, we try to get together every year for the holidays. here is a pic of our Glock Family Portrait (G30, G22 2nd gen, G22 3rd gen, G24C, G32):
  13. i've got a Tapco on mine, i love it. nice and light and just feels good...
  14. alot of people dont hunt, so they dont know they are disturbing people. i went shooting with the family yesterday, as we all get together this time of year for the holidays. with as much anti-gun stuff that is out there...i wouldnt condemn anyone for any type of legal shooting activities, as long as all was done in safety...
  15. very nice!!! i want an M1 so bad i can taste it...i thought i had one available but the deal fell through...yours is sweet! i cant complain though, i've had a great month as far as guns go...
  16. i've called in and killed about 20 this year so far, i quit once it got hot this summer and never really started back up hardcore. i'd love to be out there right now doing it with this cold weather, but the deer hunters frown upon it and i hunt alot of public lands. as soon as season closes in January, i'm sure i'll be right back out there calling them in...
  17. how much do these go for? i have no idea about Garands...i got a chance at a Springfield Armory one with a serial 1856XXX. anyone know how old it is and value? i really love the looks of these rifles!

  19. what does the conversion process do on a Saiga? i've heard them called "converted" and "unconverted", whats the differences?
  20. Hey guys, i'm finding myself with an itch that i need to scratch... i'm wanting an AK...just what i need, another EBR. my problem is i know absolutely nothing about AK's! what should i be looking for and what should i be avoiding? any advice? thanks, Chris
  21. the last time i was in Coal Creek Armoury in Knoxville they had some 5.7 uppers, but i dont remember the price...
  22. of course it would just for tacticool range fun...you know, assault on fruits and tin cans! :-)
  23. So me and a friend were talking last night over dinner, and he mentioned the possiblities of a "tacticool" .22lr handgun. and he has a point, tons of the Ruger 10-22 rifles are tricked out for "tacticoolness", so why not a handgun? i couldnt think of any off the top of my head, except maybe the Walther P22 series...that would make a cool platform to build on. the new Ruger Charger pistol on the 10/22 action has some pontential as well with all the 10/22 accessories that are already out there...anybody else have any thoughts on tacticool .22lr handguns?
  24. you know this is from the "Gears of War" video game, right? still, it is awesome cool to see one in action!!
