  2. Would love some fresh BBQ haha. Always wanted to go hog hunting too bad I don't have a truck yet so im limited with having to go with somebody.
  3. Last thing I heard on the news said her story didn't match up, no one observed what happened, and neither her husband or his jet ski has been found. So I don't know.
  4. Thanks for the advice man helps alot
  5. Yeah my aunt told me that's what one of my cousin did. But he lives in a more rural area so I'm sure that's alot easier to do in that situation. I don't really know anyone with a lot of proper though.
  6. O yeah I know about that, really though thanks for all the help guys I don't really have anyone else to ask these questions too. And yeah the website is very confusing when it comes to wma info. My father was a big hunter but he passed away in a boating accident out on Douglas when I was still a baby. He's one of the main reasons I'm trying to hey into hunting, I'm hoping to take my first deer with his rifle.
  7. Never mind just found it, I will probably try to check that area out to. Is it a pretty good place?
  8. Royal blue? I'm not seeing that on the wma map anywhere. I was looking ag chuck swan and buffalo springs also for being near by.
  9. Thanks man that helps alot. What's the best place to find all of the info on the non quota hunts? Also are There any other good wma's around knoxville for deer?
  10. I have been reading up on wma's lately and catoosa looks like the place to go for deer/boar. Here is my question, I keep seeing quota and non quota hunts and I can't find the definition anywhere. Can somebody help me out? Is it draw hunt only? Thanks for the help guys.
  11. I have my Dad's Remington 700 from 30+ years ago, still shoots like a dream.
  12. Right now is the perfect time to buy or build an ar. Just finished mine two months go.
  13. Reminds me of that dog they found with the arrow in his head walking around... Definitely a no no, I'm surprised this guy didn't at least have enough common sense to try and brag about it.
  14. Yeah u don't need an $1000 scope. My only advice is to enjoy it and get plenty of shooting in.
  15. I love shooting skeet. The best way to get better is pure practice, other techniques help of course but practice is key. I have been forced to use a Winchester defender with no choke at all and have still had pretty good success. I'm going to invest in an over under soon tho. I'm curious how good I will do with a gun made for it. Btw shot 125 rounds Saturday and have no bruise at all haha.
  16. Thanks guys I'm really liking the site so far. Anybody have any experience with buffalo springs wma for deer?
  17. Hot dogs and chili simple but o so good.
  18. Yeah my father was a really big hunter but he was taken from me while I was a baby. It's one of the biggest reasons I'm so motivated to hunt and fish. It's kinda like I'm with him you know? But anyway I'm really starting to get into gun collecting I just finished my first ar-15 and it was a blast piecing it together. In the next couple months I'm goin to be in the market for a over under shotgun. I love shooting clays but as of right now all I have is my home defense type shotgun.
  19. I have been interested in guns and hunting all my life, and stumbled onto this sight a couple weeks ago. I'm "interested in hunting" but have had no luck at all since I was 10 years old :rant:I am hoping to finally get my first deer this year, or at the very least see one. I'm going to be doing almost all of my hunts on wma's and have no idea which are the best ones in the immediate area. I'm interested in mainly deer hunting, but would like to try to get into coyote hunting also. So hows everybody doing?
