Do you all have any suggestions for some brass ammo? I'm looking for a mix between decent price and reliability. I just have a carbine so don't need any target ammo or anything.

Any suggestions for a long gun for my fiancé?

Haha, yeah she knows that, just doesn't want anything but a .22 for right now apparently. I think noise is her biggest thing right now makes her scared. -
Yep sloppy wet, I should have known better I just didn't think about it.
-
Yeah but like I said mine has been beat on and beat on without a problem. I prefer it over any of the mossberg home defender type shotguns. It's all up to what your comfortable with.
-
I'm not a shotgun guru but I have a defender and have never had any problems with it at all. It will shoot longer then your shoulder can stand it I can tell you that much. I have even shot clay pigeons with mine. From what i've heard mechanical replacement parts are very hard to find, but I've never had to replace anything.

Finally got it haha. I was kinda scared to hit it really hard, but put my back into it and it popped right out. Thanks guys, I kinda suspect the culprit to be my .22 conversion. I switched the bolts out and didn't clean too good.

Some steel case ammo that they say is made in the same factory as wolf. I have shot alot of these rounds and today was my first one to give me any trouble at all
-
Did that repeatedly with no success at all, didn't even budge it.

Any tips of how to get this thing out? Cleaning rod won't work and I would really like to shoot tomorrow if anybody has any secrets I could try

I wouldn't really call a 12 gauge with bird shot "heavy" recoil -

I went in there one day for a cheap .22, and up on the wall I saw an old beat up gun. I asked them how much and they replied $180. I was speechless, I mean this gun was beat in bad, and they have used 10/22's in there for the same price of a new one. -

The pawn shop I have been to one time and I wasn't impressed. They had nice guns but way over priced and wouldn't haggle. The new store "Precision Firearms" right down the road I have heard very good things about. They also do transfers for $20. -
Everytime I have ever got .22 at walmart they always ask everytime. Except for the guy in sporting goods, but he even sold me ammo when I was 16. I didn't look 16 but still could have gotten him in big trouble.

I heard this a couple years ago about it. From what I remember they said that bumping the bolt can make the gun fire or something like that. I have never had this happen with mine and it is older model, it was originally my father's gun.

I have a 10/22 and she has shot it a few times and has seen me shoot it. The reason I am looking for pink is that lately she has been on a pink kick for the past year. She said that if I got her some type of gun she would like it to be pink, again this is just her first gun she might like other types of stocks and guns later on if she gets really into it. I was really hoping to get a shotgun but she is a little timid right now with big booms. She relates that with heavy recoil. I think I have decided to get a 10/22 stainless with a hogue pink barrel. If she doesn't really get into shooting after that, to me at least, it's not a big deal. I think it's a good enough risk to take.I can always either resale it or swap out the stock with my wooden stock that originally came on my 10/22. Thanks for all the advice guys and girls. I'm excited to see how it goes. -

I think the main reason she doesn't want an ar15 is the look. I asked her about if I got her one just for .22 and she didn't like it. After talking to her some more I'm probably gonna get her a 10/22. I found a regular model with a pink stock, as I'm not sure if she would like a bull barrel or not so that's going to be up to her after she has it for a little while -

Well an ar15 is out of the picture haha, I asked her and she just gave me a stupid look. The reason I mentioned an ar is bc I could start her on a .22 conversion and then if she wanted to shoot .223 later on down the road she could. I'm kinda leaning toward a 10/22, bc like you all were saying she scared of my twelve gauge so if I get her a shotgun she might not want to shoot it. Maybe I'd she gets a little more comfortable later on down the road she might then want a shotgun. -
I have been thinking about getting her a gun so she can go shooting with me and have her own gun. So far I have came up with maybe a pink ar-15 or a pink 10/22. I have started shooting skeet lately and thought maybe a shotgun. I have no idea what models have pink stocks or what gauge to get. Any suggestions ladies or gents?

Yeah that's the place. I drive a neon srt-4 and I guess the cop just couldn't pass up my bright blue car.

I recently tried to hint to help a landowner with coyotes. He basically just said he would just deal with them killing his chickens. I would love to try this once it just looks very exciting type of huntig.

Let's just make it clear then in Knox county driving school is only for getting the ticket off of your record. You still pay court costs and the actual ticket.
-
Yeah I was coming home from ut and he was hiding beside the market. My cousins wife had been pulled over the day before for the same thing by the same cop.

I have gotten two tickets in the past year, the only tickets I have ever gotten. The first ticket was on riverside drive for 35 in a 30. When I asked the cop I'd I could just get a warning he flat out told me no. My second ticket was also a 35 in a 30 on Brooks road. Both of these were KPD, they just love to harass me in my car all of the time. No matter where I am I get followed, sometimes having a nice sports car just isn't worth it.
