My take on this , is it's not so much about gun control, but just control . Gun control is a tool. Once they have our guns, then they can control us.

Good ammo. It's what I carry. Our Dept uses the same in 40S&W.

I use to order the hottest they had at any of the Hot Chicken Places. Fun fact: If you eat enough Ghost Pepper your pee will burn when you go. Alas, today my intestines will not tolerate what either my mouth or butt can handle. I had some Hattie B's Damned Hot last week while downtown for VA visits, and my wife could hear my guts rumbling from 3 feet away.
You're right about the Ghost pepper. As they used to say about Brylcreme, a little dab will do ya.
I like spicy, but Ghost pepper is my limit.
Haven't tried the Nashville stuff.

Strange as it may seem, I got temporarily banned from the Henry forum for alluding to the 2A. I made it a permanent one.

Next month I step up to an older bracket, according to this pole. I'll be an old coot then, but not an crusty old coot, like @Grunt67!!!
You got me.

They say that with age comes wisdom. However, I've found that quite often age comes all alone.
Couldn't agree more

A church school. a female shooter, two "assault type" rifles and a handgun. The MSM and the politicians are gonna turn this into a complete circus.
They never let a tragedy go to waste.

If you're near my age..that's when a nickel was big money for our families. So getting one was a big deal!
79 here, and it was a big deal. Rare treat. A nickel was a lot of money back then. I didn't have one, Pa had few.

At home recovering from surgery and looking for something to watch. I'm not a big TV person, but have access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBO Max (my wife likes TV). I can't find much that looks interesting. Half of them are about cheesy CIA plots that would probably make real CIA types roll their eyes. I'm a competitive shooter and quickly get irritated with shows that depict improbable shots by people with teacup grips or people constantly racking slides.
Any suggestions or is just about everything dumb?
If you have an antenna , there are some good programs on there. I watch the Story ch. quite a bit.

When I was a little kid, my Grandpa would buy me a Double Cola or RC cola, occasionally. Glad to get it & I survived .
Cost a nickel.

Orders of protection are a waste of paper. A misdemeanor. If you're going to kill someone , a felony , what's a bit more?

Common sense . Anybody knows the heater will run a battery down. So will anything that depends on a battery.

Proof that “Thank you for your service” is just lip service.

As a combat wounded 'Nam Vet, I waited 40+ years before someone thanked me for my service. It took awhile to get used to that, but now I'm grateful to hear it. Even little kids. Shows it came from the parents.
Am I surprised by any cuts the Feds make? Not in the least!
