On an aircraft carrier on Yankee Station off the coast of Vietnam, we could eat all we wanted 24/7. However, depending upon your billet, sailors in the "modern" Navy may have a few meager meals. I read that some ate frozen burritos for breakfast. I'm sure that Ukranian fighting men have to go without, too, in spite of the billions we send to keep them alive.

When I was a kid, gas station air was free. Now it's $2. That's inflation for ya.
