  1. I'm liking this series but you can tell it's one of those productions where the book is better.I wish I had read the book before because there are several scenes already that leave you knowing there is a hidden meaning.

  2. Ebay is getting better and better all the time from a consumers point of view, they have competitive pricing, lots of vendors there and often shipping is free if you shop for it.

They're no Amazon though. Not even close when you consider the streaming that's free with prime.

At the end of the day I'm tired of boycotting businesses over opinions anyway.  I disagree with the chic- fila company on stuff, but I still eat the chicken. default_shrug.gif

A lot of items purchased through eBay come from an Amazon FC.

  3. Nice build.I'm down to 2 870s now one is similar to yours and the other is an 80's 870 Magnum (pre-Police Magnum)  with the wood stock and forend.I love building 870s but I stick with the Wingmasters or older Express models.

I guess that leaves Oak Ridge or private property, and based on what you guys are telling me, the 45-60 min drive to Oak Ridge is about as close as it's going to get.

What if I went about this another way...I'd also like to find a place to hunt hogs and coyotes, plus it would probably also serve as a place to plink. I've never done a lot of "big game" hunting. Any suggestions on finding a place to hunt varmints?

Is a 45-60 min drive that bad?,lots of us drive that long to the range.. I live in East Ridge and drive to Cleveland, takes me about 45 mins depending on which way I go and the traffic.I don't mind it,gives me time to drive the countryside and clear my head.

This seems to where it is becoming a trend with driving a vehicle through the front of a gun store. I truly hope they catch the A$$ $oles that did this and I truly hope David and family did not lose much of any value..............

It"s been going on for decades. In 1991 Guns Galore in Chattanooga was broken into the same way.Police said it was a group hitting different cities. One of the guns that was recovered later was in the possession of a LEO in Ala.

  6. With my Granddaughter's family moving to Murfreesboro I will be spending a fair amount of time in that area. What are the gun stores and pawn shops to check out?.I'm looking for the ones with a good selection of used and or older guns.Seems all you see nowdays even in pawn shops are AR/AK rifles and plastic pistols.Who has a selection of lever rifles,.22 rifles, revolvers, shotguns etc. Thanks in advance.

  7. Real fans don't jump ship.Whole lot of crowing from the Bama Bandwagon fans (those who are not from Al or a graduate of UA).Most of those don't even watch the games anyway.

  8. There was a rash of trucks being broke into and guns stolen in Cleveland not long ago,all the trucks had gun stickers on the back window. The article mentions gun shows also.I used to buy, sell, trade at gun shows often in Chattanooga,Knoxville,Nashville loop.In the 80s/90s  the big shows in Chattanooga and Knoxville were at the Trade Centers downtown with parking in a multi level parking area.I know of several robberies in those garages including one guy who got a serious concussion in Knoxville when he was hit from behind.
