Camparing the pics it may be the same Tom. I have see at least 2 good ones and some really nice jakes. I seen a jake with a 6 or so inch beard today. When I went out to the property today I heard them gobbling all over the place and hens were going crazy.

Checked the trail cam again today and got this Tom. I think this is the other Tom I had been seeing. This one has a nice beard. Either way I just hope I get a chance at these awesome birds (I know Dave......)

WD is correct. When it comes to the youth lets teach them the right way so they can pass on their knowledge.

I new I had a few good toms but yes having the pictures really helps.

Checked my trailcam yesterday and this is what I got. I set it out this past Monday. Hpefully I will harvest one of the Toms and get it on film. Look to the right (your right) of the fan and you will see another Tom. It's the red spot under the fan. This one was posing.

The Hornady shells have mixed reviews. I havent shot any but give them a try.

I may be in for a fall hunt.

I carry a shotgun and rifle with me. I use heavy shot T because it works great. #4 shot turkey load at close range works good. Make sure you pattern your shotgun with the load your going to use. As far as calls go, any rabbit distress will work. Remember no 2 rabbits sound the same when being eating. As long as you make the call sound like its dying you can get the attention of a coyote. I use jackrabbit sounds and we don't have any around here but to them its something dying and an easy meal.
