My cousin killed a spike many years ago that had the antlers growing up and behind the ears (they were growing straight down behind the ears) . It was a weird looking buck. He thought it was a doe. I remember he shot it with an SKS.

I would say a 20 gauge would be perfect.

I'm seeing deer both does and little bucks. Seen a spike this morning. His right tine was about 8 or 9 inches long and the left tine was only 3 or 4. He was chasing a doe around. I still haven't seen any of my big deer. I'm kinda getting frustrated so I'm hitting some other properties this week. Maybe that will help out. I seen 1 little doe this evening.

I love soaking mine in buttermilk for a little while then toss it in flour, salt, pepper then off to the fry daddy until golden brown. My Paw made it this way and would cook it for breakfast. I sure do miss his cookin. I cook it other ways but hard to beat it fried like that in my opinion.

Not sure whats up, I thought for sure I would have seen one of those bigger bucks. Guess I need to be a little more patient. Going back out in the morning if I'm able.

Call your local Law Enforcement Office and let them know. If you go out there and find them on your property call the Police. If people are purposely trespassing then yes they need to go to jail. I take that as if you were breaking into my house.

Went out this morning seen several deer, does and a few of my smaller bucks. Had 2 coyotes come in and everything left but this small 7 pointer stayed to long. I dropped him trotting off at around 100 yards. I decided I needed some meat in the freezer. I have 2 buck tags left so I will patiently wait for those big bucks I have on my trail cams. This 7 pointer was on my trail cam guess I can cross him off now.
