I have gut shot deer before and luckily I have found them but I feel real bad when when I made those bad shots. I guess I would feel just as bad taking a head shot thats why I won't do it. I know if I had friends like that I wouldn't take them hunting.

Thing is an unethical hunter is usually taught by another. My step-father taught me how to hunt and he never let me take a bad shot not even a shot when the deer was facing me. I always had to take a broad or quartering away shot.

I'm lucky I have a friend who does it on the side and he has a lot of mounts to do and he still got my fox done in 5 months and like I said he does this part time and does a great job!

+1 and after seeing that picture of the deer with the arrow in it's head, well that just makes me sick. And to think he thought it was funny.

Well I will be in the woods but I will be hunting coyotes. I opted out of bow season this year.
