Where to find Win. 147 gr. SXT 9mm & .45 ACP

Recommended Posts

I want to buy some Winchester 147 grain SXT 9mm ammo. Does any body know where I can find any at? My son found 1 box of 20 and 1 box of the Win. Black Talon at a pawn shop in Gallatin. Both for $50.00 out the door. My son sold me the SXT. I want to buy at least 2 more boxes. They are going to be used in my Ruger P89. For my carry gun and load. And if any body knows where I can aslo find some Win. SXT in .45 ACP. I live right out side of Gallatin, TN. Thanks, gearyr.

If that's what you want, fine. However, civilian SXT isn't that great...certainly not worth the extra trouble of finding.

Stick with Winchester's Ranger-T, Speer's Gold Dot, or Federal's HST. All can be found at www.ammunitiontogo.com

All perform better than the SXT and Black Talon. Besides, I'd rather not rely on 10+ year old ammunition for defense (Black Talon) if I didn't have to.

Regards

+1. If you have a hard time finding the HST's or Rangers, the Gold Dots are pretty easy to find at your local store. Ammunitiontogo is just out of about everything in 9mm right now, but they do have some versions of the GD's in.
