Bought a Glock 19 & a Serpa Holster today

Recommended Posts

So I went out and bought a Glock 19 today and a Serpa Holster at Franklin Gun. This gun is so much better feeling than my Kimber (although I still love my Kimber). The serpa holster seems to more concealable that my galco holster for the Kimber. The Serpa had a paddle attachment on it but I don't know. Has anyone out there have a Blackhawk Serpa and tried the paddle attachment? Is it even worth fooling with?

Back to your question....I use a Serpa w/ paddle attachment for my G27...I really like it...very secure...can be a little cumbersome to take off but that means it is for the bad guy as well if something goes bad...I never used mine with the belt attachment...paddle suits me fine...just screw the attachment on and try it out...you can adjust the cant as well for your liking...enjoy and congrats

To start, you sir are a blasphimer, nothing feels better than a good 1911.

Having said that, I have been carrying a G22 in a serpa paddle for the last few days. It has taken some getting used to, I normally carry IWB. But I do like this holster, the lock piece is in just the right place. I have not tried it with the belt attachment, I borrowed this one to see if I would like it and it already had the paddle on it. It seems pretty secure and doesn't move around alot. I would rate it as a very good holster, and have already ordered one for myself.
