Money and eggs in the safe

Recommended Posts

A couple having been married for 35 years I’ve been through a lot. The man has always had a safe under his desk in the office. Told his wife don’t look in the safe. For 35 years she did not look in the safe. One day he had gone to run an errand and she looked in the safe. She found three eggs and $47. When the man got home, the wife said “I looked in the safe and found three eggs at $47“. The man said I asked you not to look in the safe. She said I can understand the $47 but what’s with the three eggs? The man said well to be honest with you every time I get little on the side I put an egg in the safe. The wife says well in 35 years three times a horrible. The wife asks what about the $47? The man said well every time I get a dozen eggs I sell them at the store for two dollars a dozen.
