⚠️ Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers ⚠️

This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO.

  • Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with.   Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete.  Your experience will help others.

  • Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun!  None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction.  They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns.  DON'T DO IT.

  • Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO.  Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye.

There’s a lonely Colt Commander sitting in the back of your safe. You know the one. Steel. Heavy. Classic. Unfired since the Obama administration.

Meanwhile, the world’s moved on.

I’ve got a Sig P365 X-Macro with a Holosun RD2 red dot sight—17+1 rounds of 9mm performance in a sleek, lightweight carry package. It’s compact, controllable, and ready for whatever’s next.

You’re holding 8 rounds of nostalgia. I’m offering you a ticket to 2025.

Let’s make a trade. Help me retire a legend, and I’ll help you step into the modern era.

Let’s bump this with some facts…

Your 1911 is heavy, holds 8 rounds, and costs twice as much to feed. It’s a gorgeous piece of history—but so is a typewriter, and you’re not writing your emails on one.

Be honest: when’s the last time you bought .45 ACP? You probably skipped it when you saw the price tag and grabbed a box of 9mm like the rest of us. Because it’s cheaper. It’s faster. It’s easier to shoot. And it doesn’t turn your belt into a tourniquet.

Meanwhile, that 1911 is sitting in your safe like a retired fighter—still proud, still pretty, but long past its prime.

It’s time to let go.

Give that relic a second life with someone who will love it for what it is: a steel monument to simpler times. And admit it—you’re not carrying it. You’re not shooting it. You’re just moving it out of the way when you look for something else.

Set it free.
