6.5 action

Recommended Posts

Don't know if this is posted in the correct place or not, but here goes. due to my company dragging their feet getting me my last sick, lame and lazy check I lost out on the polytech m14 I wanted. So I now would like to put together a long range competition rifle in 6.5 creedmore. Can anybody help me out with any ideas of what a good available action would be to start building off of. Seems like I can find all kinds of information on barrels and stocks, but not much on actions for a 6.5 creedmore. Want to start buying the parts as I can afford them so I can have a gunsmith put it together for me this coming spring.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi C Simpson

Don't know that area but have seen that there is F class competition in Tullahoma. There is a gun shop in goodletsville that is a TGO approved vendor that you could talk to. I am sure they can fill you in on locations. Also post this question in the competition forum and I am sure you will get a lot of results. I shoot at ORSA in Oak Ridge, but that would be a bit of a drive for you probably.
