Got a new rifle today, but to be honest I dont know what the hell i bought.

I know who makes all the furniture but im having some problems identifying the Upper, bolt, lower parts kit, and the barrel.

Can you help me out?

Ill start with the upper.(It has the keyhole which is cerro forge(i think) but know nothing beyond that)

Heres the bolt, there are no markings.

The lower Parts are only marked with two S in squares, the trigger is very short and crisp

The barrel is my biggest mystery, only markings are 556 just in front of the triangle sight and the mercedes style emblem on the feed ramp

Standard cerro casting flattop upper with a paint job. No feed ramps.

The 5.56 means that it should be chambered in 5.56mm as opposed to .223 rem.

AR bolt carrier group

Barrel extension looks like it could use feedramps on the upper.

Looks like the parts could have been made by a lot of folks.

You bought a generic AR-15. Hope that helps.

5.56 mm I thought was 223. Just like 7.62x51 is .308 school me on this for maybe I know not what I speak.
