I am in need of a M1 Garand demo for a display for the Army, I know, a person would think they would be easily available for the military but it would take several weeks to get it.

The rifle needs to be in fair shape but not functional. If anyone knows of one for sell please let me know

Try the local highschool that has ROTC.

I know the standard for me was 1903, M1 Garand and M14, all demilled of course. The M14 was able to be completely disasembled and other than not being able to chamber a round was fully functional. We even practiced function checks on them after they were reassembled.

I would check those two. Like was said drill teams have them.

From cmp seems a little high.

Like Dolomite suggested, I would check with a local JROTC/ROTC unit. In highschool we had 7 that were fully fuctional (De-milled of course) and a couple that were battered but we used for practice.
