crkt premonition

Recommended Posts

Bored today so I thought I'd flash my crkt premonition. $15.00 on ebay. makes a great little edc. Good for cutting string or ocasional bologna or cheese. I like the different serrations and normally don't like serrations. Seriously I kinda like it its light and easy to flip open cuts good . Unfortunately a high end knife is like expensive sunglasses to me . I'd lose them or break then in a week. It is a Jerry Mcginnis knife.Blade is 1163k and the box has the China word on it.

I just got it last week and really had a chance to abuse it yet. Tha knife was sharp when I got and it looks like serrartions would work best with a pulling motion instead of pushing. I think theses serrations are available on some of the other knives. supposed to be designed by Tom Veff "which means nothing to me" just what catalog says. I'm no knife expert but I do like the flipper. plus its just a little different looking. A quality knife would be wasted on me I'm still trying to learn put a sharp edge on one Like I said for the $ I thought I'd give it a try

Looks like a fine knife, but that word China on it is a deal breaker for me. They own enough of our crap already, I'm not going to give them a penny more than I have to.

yeah I understand thats why I mentioned it in the OP It does suck that its harder and harder to buy american

Ya know what's really sad? You can get, for example, a Buck Stockman made in USA or China. And the Chinese version seems to be every bit as good at less than half the price.
