REMINGTON 870 FOREND

anyone have an 870 that you've upgraded the forend to a tri rail on? mine has a pistol grip forend that im not very fond of and im looking to upgrade to a tri rail. i found some kits on ebay that give you the forend, a detachable pistol grip, tac light, and laser for $59, and was wondering if anyone had experience with this or any others and which you prefered and why. any help would be appreciated. thanks, ian

I have an aluminum 6061 tri-rail with magpul xtr rail covers and a Surefire X300 on it. It actually has some play to the foregrip but I've never had trouble with the action or keeping my shots and sight picture spot on. I actually think my hogue forend fits a little better, but I haven't switched back to it yet.

btw: I second the Elzetta (light) and mount.
