Good Taurus Repair Service

I know the negative services get posted all the time so I thought I'd post a positive one. I had to send in my old PT-111 because the little screw that holds the plate over the firing mechanism was stripped out. I sent it on Thursday before Thanksgiving and received it back the Friday after Thanksgiving. 8 day turnaround. I've had good service from them 3 of 3 times in the last 15 years. I should have called and asked them to just send the screw, it would have been a lot cheaper for me. Still happy with my repair.

Thanks for posting this. Some of us don't automatically assume the name Taurus is synomous with poor quality and bad service. May be in the minority on this, but I have not had an issue with any Taurus product I've ever owned, and that's been close to 20 over the years.

Not saying Taurus is the best thing since sliced bread, swiss cheese and bacon, but for entry level to low mid-range pricing; the products are well worth their cost.

Now let the flack begin...
