Sig P6 Project Started

I bought a well worn, rarely shot P6 from a friend about a month ago for 300 bucks. I've always had a love for these little shooters because they're cheap, accurate, and reliable. I wish I had some before snaps but C'est la vie. In any event I wanted a miniature duplicate of my P220 so then began my project gun. The first order of things was a refinish job. Cerakote seemed the most viable option as it's tough, cheap, and readily available. The frame looked near new and so did the springs. I had heard that Sig refurbed these prior to being imported but I cannot testifiy as to whether or not this is true or has been done. I am still lacking a set of Meprolight night sights and a set of Hogue Extreme Metal brushed aluminum grips. I've spend about 220.00 in accessories when the gun was only 300.00. Normally I would drop the coin on ammo components BUT I'm happy with how this turned out.

Here's a couple shots of the refinished slide.

I'll post more up as my project is completed.
