I've been lucky enough to make at least one M&G in Memphis and Nashville, but both are quite a drive for me. There seem to be several member in the greater Jackson area, so I was curious how many would be interested in getting together.

To be honest I don't really know of any public ranges in this area other than at Natchez Trace State Park and there isn't anywhere close to eat there. So if there is interest we would need suggestions on a range. Of course unless the consensus would be more for just a social gathering (eating) as opposed to eating and shooting.

Also I'm not sure how capable I am of organizing such a thing...at least alone, so any and all throw your ideas out there and we'll see what sticks.

If we could plan something like this out, maybe make a day-long event of some kind... I'd be all over it (with clothes on, of course).

Natchez Trace has a pistol firing range... 731-968-5351 I'll give 'em a call this week to see how an event would go over, and get a sense of their accomodations.

If anybody else knows of a range in that area, but not on State property, please post.
