I'll be Traveling from Tenn to Mich. soon, just curious if anyone had any problems carrying though Indiana or Michigan?

The state laws seem basically the same from what I've read.

Great!

I didn't realize that about Indiana, I'm so use to not carrying in restaurants I still have a hard time doing it even in KY.

Maybe one day TN will get that one passed..

Thanks!

You know that this is so much BS. Hodge Podge of asinine restrictions that as you cross State lines can get you in trouble. If its Tuesday in Belgium you can carry into a restaurant that sells pizza on Wednesday type of BS.

It is what it is but the non-uniformity sucks.

I agree, it would be nice if all the states would get on the same page with some of these laws.

We would just need a good start for them to all go by, such as GA or KY.

My daughter recently built a new house south of Olive Branch, MS. When we visit and go out to eat, it is so nice to be able to carry in places like O'Charleys and Long Horn. Maybe one of these days Tn. will allow that here.:D:D:D

Anytime you are going to be travelling out of state a good place to check is Handgunlaw.us

They have the list of off limits places for all 50 states, info about must inform or not and links to each states laws as well.

Thanks for that link Fallguy. I'll be traveling to the Outer Banks at the end of this month and to MO. at the end of July. Looks like I'll have to re-plan my travel to MO. so I don't cross into ILL. :D

The only problem I would find with traveling to Michigan would be not wanting to come back here.

Hey, remember the rest of Tennessee is NOT Memphis and Shelby County!!!!

Iowa is not very damn gun friendly either. Hell I was born and raised there and there gun attitude really pisses me off.

Made it back yesterday...

No problems had a nice trip, nothing like I expected to be honest.

The storms and flooding surprised me. Couldn't believe all the flooding in Indiana and Michigan.
