I just got one and haven't had time to check it out much. Hard to sit down with it in front and the waist band has some scratchy areas where it the velcro is sown on. Not as good as I thought but then a belly band is not either. I have so far found my IWB carried cross draw is the most comfortable.

Glock 23-27

Anytime I'm not wearing belted pants, it's what I wear. Works great, but best with compact size guns, either striker fired or hammer down.

Hmmm... I figured on getting one as a sort of deep concealment option, when I don't want to worry about printing from my usual IWB holster. I'm kind of thinking that getting a J-frame or other pocket pistol would be a better approach, though. More flexible for me as well- I ride a motorcycle sometimes, and I can't imagine a smartcarry would cooperate there.

i have one, i dont care much for it... not very comfortable and forget it if you want to sit down...

I don't have that problem at all... what are you tryin' to carry, "Dirty Harry?" :D

I can carry, very comfortably: Glock 17 or 19, CZ 75 Compact, Taurus 24/7 Pro. No problem sitting, standing, using the bathroom...

Maybe it's not the pistol causing the crowding... :D

Seriously, I'm guessing offhand that the fit of your pants has a significant effect on comfort. I don't wear cowboy-tight jeans, much to the relief of people everywhere with weak stomachs, so that's a mark in my favor. :)

Well, there's that... :)

yeah, maybe that is the problem. about all i can get comfortable in mine is a S&W J frame or a P3AT. heck, i can just put those in a pocket holster better...

i'm not saying that they are useless. the only reason i wont get rid of mine is the few times we go to the beach for vacation, its nice to be able to walk down the beach totally concealed with just a pair of slip on shorts/swimming trunks. just dont plan on getting in the water with it on...

Anybody have any experiance with this holster?

I wear one most of the time with an XD-40 (4" barrel).

Being a fat guy does make its use a little different from than how the website describes. My gut starts to curve in right where you're supposed to wear it and the weight of the gun would cause it to slide down under the "dunlap disease". Then it's loose and digs into my legs when I try to sit down. The solution was to get a pair of Perry suspenders from wal-mart and wear them on top of an undershirt. I have to keep my belt looser than normal, so I end up pulling my pants up more than normal. Two sets of suspenders would do the trick though. :screwy:

Drawing is slower than a normal holster, but it's better than not carrying at all. OWB holsters would stick out too much and would get caught while getting out of the car. IWB holsters were a joke: cinch up the belt tight enough to keep the pants from sliding due to the pistol weight and the flab would push the gun out at a 45 degree angle. So not only do I have a pistol grip sticking out even more than a OWB, I have a muzzle of a gun poking into my kidneys constantly. Chalk up "lack of carry options" as yet another reason to lose weight.

The one I have is big enough to either carry both pistols or an extra two magazines along with whatever documents I want to carry in the pouch behind it. That makes it great for when I go work out. I can put my ID, HCP, or anything else there in the pocket behind the gun. Everything stays put while I'm on an exercise bike, treadmill, or weight machine. Riding around in the car is OK too and I often take 14hr trips with it on. I can't carry at work due to our leftist HR department, but locking the gun up in the car and just carrying the mags seems to be OK. No one has noticed the difference. Dark baggy pants seem to work the best.
