Disposing of defective ammo?

I have some 38 special rounds (just a few) that are defective. They are factory. They have a defect at the bottom of the round that prevents them from fully seating in the chamber of my SP-101 and therefore they prevent the cylinder from rotating. The good rounds have an indentation at the bottom, but on the defective rounds it's as if he indentation is reversed and is actually jutting out. Extra material. Anyway, what is the proper was to dispose of these rounds?

Perfect!

I'm not sure if the highlight is intended to imply that I stupidly left them laying around or that I did the right thing. The problem with written text is it's hard to detect sarcasm.

To be clear, I left them with the rangemaster who said he'd dispose of them.

This is the best reason to INSPECT your carry ammo!;)

I use a chamber gauge, available from Midway. The chamber gauge is a little below minimum chamber specs.

If it will go in the gauge, it WILL go in the gun.

Great post.

BTW, ALL U.S. military ammo is chamber gauged! IT HAS TO WORK.
