Cheap 20 guage semi-auto

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a cheap 20 guage semi-auto for my wife. She would like to learn to shoot skeet, but I don't want to buy a Benelli (unless a really good deal). I may keep it for a future gun for my daughter as well. Also my wife is 5'2" so a youth model may be needed.

Anyway, I have read about the Weatherby SA and the Mossberg SA, but want some other thoughts. Again this will probably be just a fun gun. I have an 870 Wingmaster in 20 and 12, plus a Model 12 in 12 and 16 so I have some good hunting guns.

Thanks. Edited by MississippiBoy

Remington has a decent 11-87 youth model with a synthetic stock and interchangeable chokes. We have 2 for our SCTP program and work great for the small kids as they have virtually no recoil. Should be in the $500-600 range.

I am going to see if I can find one for my wife to feel and check out. Would be a fun rabbit or squirrel gun too.
