Lone Wolf Slide for my G23?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these slides and if they are worth the $200 or not? I dont like bling or showing off, I just like the stainless over black look. Yes I know I could always durcoat or cerekote my current slide but the idea of being able to change back and forth between the two is nice. Also the LWD website states it is for conversion of Gen 3 Glocks and I have a Gen 4, will it still work? I would be looking to buy the bare slide (link below) and use the factory parts from my original.

I know that there are probably many more important gun related things I can put my spare change towards and I am not dead set on this yet.

Thanks in advance.

I am a BIG Glock fan but when it comes to coatings and adding foreign parts , I say it is a forecast for things to go wrong . The Glock in it's stock form is perfection in my opinion. I have cut my G22's frame to a grip of that of a G27 for a particuliar function but it did not affect it's function nor reliability. I say give it a month's thought and then make a decision.
