My local pusher called this evening and told me he had an LCP and I was top on the list. Went and picked it up and also got box of ammo and belt clip for a P3AT. Was reading the other day and someone on here had said the belt clip would work on the LCP but when I tried to install it the pin that goes thru the frame was a little to big. Did anyone else have to enlarge their pin hole or modify the pin to get it to fit? Does Ruger make a belt clip for this gun? Did I get the wrong clip? I'll give a range report as soon as I get some time to shoot it. ---MP

Well that is possible. First simi-auto I've bought in 20 years. I've carried a J-frame Smith and Colt DS at different times and a NAA 22 as a bug. I thought the LCP would replace the NAA as it is a little small.--MP

I think taking it back would be a good idea although since it's for a Kel Tec the store might not do anything. If they'll let you try another one that would be good business IMO.

If not I'd try sanding the PIN not altering the weapon. If you ever decided to take the clip off, then altering the weapon might be a problem with replacing the original pin... If you do sand the pin look at bluing it again. Keeping the weapon close to your body with the clip might cause a rust problem later on.

I've know several people who have used the clip and did not have to alter anything. Might just be a fluke...
