I found this unusual.

This is something that you just don't see for sale everyday. This is "sanitized" ammo manufactured by Lake City ammo plant in the late 1960s/early 1970s, made to be issued to special forces troops and CIA operatives operating AK-47s in areas that we were never "officially" in during the Vietnam war, like Laos and Cambodia. It has NO headspace markings whatsoever, so that any recovered by the NVA and/or Viet Cong could not be traced back to the US. It is boxer primed and non-corrosive (and therefore reloadable, unlike the cheap surplus on the market) and is new in the original box. This auction is for the 29 boxes in the crate 20 rounds in a box. Rare stuff.

That's pretty cool stuff, Wouldn't mind having a box or so as a collector's item, not a whole case.

Yikes. I'd be really surprised if someone choked up that many bones for that. Collectible or not...i still think 200 bucks is way too much for a 1000 wolf 7.62 x 39.
