Was spotted last weekend

I was hosting a geocaching event at a BBQ place in Paris last weekend.  Was concealing with an untucked shirt.  One of the cachers attending is an off duty Paris Police Officer, he observed my Glock 17 as I was giving out door prizes.  Had a friendly chat about handguns; he wasn't bothered that I was carrying, he was carrying too. 

 

He had advised others that play this Internet game to carry.  About a year ago, was cachin' out in his county in a rural area.  Had to park away from the posted coordinates.  A car drove up, was eyeing me.  A few minutes later, occupants were eyeing me again.  Of course, I was eyeing them as well.  Wrote in my cache log of the experience and felt better that I was armed.  That county (Henry) like others in the region are invested with Meth heads.
