Guest Verbal Kint

For the most part... people are going nuts still, due to the election / AWB panic. Although it does depend on the brand, as well as what exactly is included in the specific LPK, as to what "normal" pricing would run.

That is exactly the reason. If you just wait a couple of days, people are getting them back in stock. The normal vendors are not gouging.

DPMS lower part kits are suppose to start trickling back to midwayusa.com pretty soon. (called them the other day)

If you just have to have one now...

They do a pretty good job of keeping out of stock items off their website. This kit doesnt include a pistol grip... but ya know... i might just have a spare around here somewhere.

One thig is for sure if we're out of lower parts kits and lowers like this I guess the people will be well armed enough to defend against almost anything. Lower parts kits are one of the last things I would see people being out of since gunshows and stores typically have a shelf full and they aren't controlled.

Brownells has them, haven't checked with Joe but he probably does too.

You'd think that but the issue is people are buying all AR parts just to horde them. I mean... why the hell are all the upper screws for an A2 stock out of stock? :hyper:

Its just part hording. People are afraid if the guns are banned then parts will be impossible to find.

I can only hope this whole douchebaggery will blow over soon. Its just like when Nashville 'ran out of gas.'

Can someone explain why lower part kits are selling for 95.00 on glocktalk and 150 on ar15.com? They are 55.00 everywhere, are they somehow in short supply, or are people just going nuts and paying asking price on everything?

Brandon

Maybe because AR15.com is about the highest price place I've found on the net to buy anything?

Then again, I'm new to this - I might be wrong :search:

Nah, it is.

The people that are complaining about gouging are gouging.
