Maybe. But...I got into Taurus in the late 80s and early 90s while I was slinging auto parts. Always found a shop tech with something to sell. Oddly, most often I bought Taurus pistols. Usually they were bought pretty cheap. The best ones that I found, and kept, were the PT 92(Beretta clone in black), The PT100, same but in 40 cal. Also several 1911s. I've kept the SS model, wish I'd kept the black/blue one. They've all been good and dependable for range guns. Would I use for edc? If I had no other choices...yes. But I'm blessed to not need that option.

Also had several of the poly PT111 and PT145. The 111 was a bit off for accuracy. Made a good close range gun though. Mine I thought of as more of a belly gun. The 145, I still have, is awesome. Shoots well and is accurate as far as I can see to shoot. A bit heavy on recoil I admit though.

More to the point, I think Taurus is a viable option for shooters. Not as cheaply made as they once were, but prices have gone up on some models. I hear good things on the G2 and G3 models, and now a G4 iscoming. I know of at least 2 lgs that sell a lot as entry level pistols, and also to a certain street element as well.

I had a PT145 for a while. It was the only Taurus I ever owned and the only 45acp gun I ever owned. It was a good gun and I can't say anything bad about it but it was heavier than I liked for carry. The gun wasn't heavy. It was the 45 ammo.

It’s definitely a provocation, but I don’t think it’s a show of superiority. I’d be most concerned about the dispersion of bio weapons.  China knows how trigger happy we are, and the urge to shoot it down is irresistible, thus sealing our own fate.

This is the second time I've heard this. I had not thought about that but think this could be a real possibility. But would they do this now knowing we discovered it's up there?

I have other pistols without braces, in state just carry your stamp as well.

You can also file a form 20 which will allow you to take out of state for 365 days providing the item is allowed in the state traveling to.

Can you file this one time and go back and forth for 365 days?

My biggest thing is that by going from a pistol to an SBR, I am now crippled on transporting, crossing state lines, vehicle carry, and carry ability with my current HCP. I prefer to keep them in pistol status and wait this thing out. I got used to the Uzi push/pull sling method before the brace and if necessary will go back to that method.

This is one of my hang-ups also. I have a boat in TN but have to drive five miles of KY roads to get there. I assume this would still be breaking federal law?

  5. My first was a Stevens 530a 16ga double barrel that my dad bought new in the 1950s. Still have it and it will be passed down to one of my boys. It has some wear but still tight as a new one. It's killed many squirrels, quite a few rabbits, and doves,

  6. My son did get the Garmin watch and said he loves it. He said while he can't talk or text on it like a apple watch he can see if he needs to answer or text without getting his phone out. He took a trip on his boat from Paris landing area to KY dam with a few side trips along the way and he opened a app on his phone that had a map with track of the trip with other info. Very cool.

Nice 1957 GMC Suburban  with 4wd. Either a posed publicity shot or some well healed hunters to be taking a vey shiny new truck out in the rough.

I replaced the original stereo with a modern one I bought from Crutchfield. It came with a little microphone I mounted on my A Pillar for phone calls. After that you just pair your phone with your stereo just like any other Bluetooth device. I added a backup camera that works with the new stereo too. It's was all fairly straightforward. There are lots of videos online to help if you get stuck.

I went this route too and have been very satisfied. The most time consuming thing on the install was running the cable for the back up camera.

  9. After I had to give up my line of work because of back problems I got a job at a auto parts store. I worked there over two years and carried every day against company policy. A few days after I left there I was in there for some parts and told the manager. He said "I often wondered if you did but couldn't tell and didn't ask.

All this debate gas vs electric may well be a waste of breath in the end

“The World Economic Forum (WEF) published a paper that calls for an end to “wasteful” private car ownership in favor of communal sharing to lessen global demands for precious metals and fossil fuels.”

So how do I get a boat to the water, horses to a trail head, or tow my Jeep to a offroad park? Who should I call to pull these trailers?
