  1. See my post regarding how I setup alerts to detect fraudulent activity on all my credit cards, my financial institutions and each year I renew the fraud alert to the credit report companies. The key is to activate both text messaging and email alerts for any type of activity. The sooner you can notify yourself to fraudulent activity, the quicker you can contact your credit card company or financial institution to proactively stop as best you can the fraudulent activity. In my case, during three different years they first tested my credit card with a small transaction. Due to my text and email alerts, I contacted the credit card company to avoid the criminal's being able to make more expensive purchases, close the account and send me a new credit card. I have the customer service phone numbers saved in my cell phone for all credit cards and financial institutions in case I am not at home if I receive an activity alert that I did not perform.
  2. I prefer Culver's burgers and milkshakes. For me, the unique favor of Culver's burgers paired with a Vanilla milkshake with fries tastes great to me. I have not eaten a What-A-Burger nor In-n-Out burgers in order to compare with Culver's burgers.

  4. Correct. Mickey Rooney and Carolyn Jones in the movie "Baby Face Nelson" from 1957. https://www.gettyimages.ca/detail/news-photo/mickey-rooney-as-lester-m-baby-face-nelson-gillis-and-news-photo/526895974 The exact picture that Jeb48 posted is in the link below about half way down the in website. https://twentyfourframes.wordpress.com/2009/03/04/where-are-they-baby-face-nelson-1957/
  5. Headline: Reinstated Tennessee Rep. Justin Jones is seen in newly unearthed video hurling traffic cone at a driver during BLM protest outside the Capitol in 2020: Lawmaker expelled for gun protest is sworn back in https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11969191/Video-reveals-reinstated-Tennessee-Rep-hurling-traffic-cone-driver-BLM-protest.html
  6. I agree. My post is offering an alternative if you are not willing to spend time listing the firearms for sale, getting contacted by people who try to lower your price or want to trade you something for the firearm, the dangers of selling to strangers, getting payment and possibly dealing with shipping the firearm legally.
  7. Are there any middle TN gun shops that either buy guns or sell on consignment? Bass Pro or Cabela’s buys guns. Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s do not purchase modern muzzleloaders, black powder or air guns. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/we-buy-guns
  8. Thank you for answering my question regarding the walkability of the sporting clay courses at Cross Creek Clays.
  9. I have had my credit card information stolen three different years. Each time they tested my credit card with a $1 or $1.50 small transaction. One time they charged my credit card with a small transaction to test that the card was still valid and then issued a credit for the same amount. Since both of those transactions were pending transactions, I would have not known about the test if I relied on seeing the transactions on my statement. However, I have text and email alerts setup on my credit card which alerted me to the test transactions. I have text and email alerts setup with all my financial institutions. Each year I renew my fraud alert with one of the credit report companies which gets shared to the other two credit report companies to make it harder for someone to open a new credit account in my name.
  10. I shot sporting clays at TCTC many years ago and I enjoyed the variations at each stand. I always had problems with the "rabbit" clay disk rolling and bouncing at high speed on the ground. TCTC only has one sporting clay course, but at the time I went to TCTC, they change the clay machines and difficulty frequently so the course is not the same. One time I went on a weekend after they had a tournament for the sporting clays and the stands were still setup for the tournament. Needless to say, I did not score well. I think my score was 20's or 30's out of the 100 clay targets. I still had a good time. I noticed that the Cross Creek Clays website said you can get golf carts. Is the distance from the clubhouse to the various courses very far away or very difficult terrain that would prevent walking? I would think the distance between stands on a given course would be easily walkable. I would prefer walking and talking with the group as long as the terrain was not like a difficult hike in the woods with steep inclines and declines. EDIT: For those new to the middle TN area, Nashville Gun Club (TCTC) offers more than just sporting clays. https://www.nashvillegunclub.com/
  11. Thank you for the information of this facility. Which course did you shoot at Cross Creek Clays? Red, White or Blue? Have you been to TCTC (Nashville Gun Club) and shot their sporting clay course?
  12. I watched this PBS Frontline Tuesday night and thought the program did a great job explaining how we got this point of bank failures. There are many reasons that caused the financial crisis we are currently experiencing today. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/documentary/age-of-easy-money/
