  1. If you lose weight the Beltman will refit the belt professionally for no charge because I was worried of that same problem.
  2. My father in law was in the Nam and very seldom did soldiers carry 1911's, they were being phased out and that was '69 according to him. He worked aerial surveillance (all I can say) and usually the Deltas had the 1911. I could be way off but he isn't a story teller. Something does not seem right about this 1911. I also believe Colt was the primary supplier at the time to the military.
  3. They are nice but their prices and wait times have inflated from the show. I have a buddy who is waiting on his suppressed Saiga 12 plus it cost him about 1900.
  4. Wolf Military Classic is pretty good.
  5. I agree with easy AR building compared to AK.
  6. I'm too much of a perfectionist to build my own. I would literally throw money in the garbage disposal trying LMAO
  7. Cheaper than Dirt is awesome on gun prices and their shipping.
  8. No I was going to get it from Cheaper than Dirt but checked all around Middle TN and no one had one but Coal Creek in Knoxville. I was up that way and snatched their only one. I paid about 30 dollars difference or higher lol but I knew what I was getting.
  9. I don't have any optics (yet) I did that shooting free standing with iron sights. I am going to get an ACOG this summer.
  10. Extremely accurate. All the way out at my indoor didn't have access to outdoor range that weekend.
  11. It's a scope mount. All you do is you slide your mount on it locks in place and you have a rail on top for optics.
  12. They are both excellent weapon systems and will protect most of all people just fine! Here's my baby! Arsenal SGL 21-71 7.62x39 VLTOR Milspec buffer tube, magpul Ctr stock, magpul 1/4 cheek riser, VLTOR single point sling adapter, US Palm AR pistol grip, Russian and Bulgarian Milspec mags
  13. A well made Chinese MAK 90, NHM 90 or SA 85M will do you good.
  14. I loved mine. Check out grips by Esmeralda. She makes nice wood grips for these bad boys.
  15. I wish that happened to me!
  16. My baby! And yes...that's a Magpul M4 stock and AR15 grip LOL
  17. Awesome guys! I like to have fun friendly conversation on these topics. It's good to see other people out there can have good times! I like your stance on the 1911..cracks me up! Well guys it was fun, what else can we find to talk about. LMAO

    Glocks

I love my Gen 4 23! No issues whatsoever.
  19. Check the SBR thread on here. Cant win over there lol. What it comes down to is some guys don't wanna admit the AK47 is like a 1911 as far as heritage but I think the AK is more dependable on that scale. It's an old design that just works. I am not hung up on buying only American. I want quality and dependability no matter if it's American, Russian, or Nigerian Alot of guys out there are just stuck on AR's and that's fine but the world doesn't use AK's because everyone is third world or because of mass production, I wish people would just admit its a Commie rifle which pretty much always works. End of rant. And yes I own an AR as well. Oh and I carry a Austrian designed Glock 23 because it just works. There we go, the AR is like a 1911 and the AK is the the Glock. HaHa I'm gonna get it for that!!
  20. That's awesome and I know they do. Funny thing is mine is 7.62x39 and it's accuracy is amazing! And people say AK's aren't accurate.
