  1. Genius idea. I will be looking forward to if it works. On the other side I would never use it.
  2. I have said this before, whenever I buy something from some where it goes on sale right after I purchase it. I bought some more thin screws from VZ and I got an e-mail from them today. They have a 15% sale on everything through 12/18 and the code is HOLIDAY2011
  3. I had a Ruger Vaquero in .44 Special. It was a great shooter, left bigger holes in the paper, and easy on the hands. Only downside about this gun is the ammo prices. Around 50 for $36-40. I miss it but I will get another.
  4. Update: Michele Bachmann's husband looks like Chaz Bono
  5. I can not stand Michele Bachmann or Rick Perry. Michele Bachmann couldn't hold the reigns of power with a kindergarden class, let alone the greatest country in the world. As for Rick Perry, he is a total tool. Rick Perry would get rid of three federal agencies but I don't remember which ones and neither does he. I can not stand either them one bit. I could find a better candidate in a cemetery. Go Newt! That is all.
  6. All I know is that I am going to not change the grips again. So I'm not too worried about the screws and bushings coming out at the same time. Also if the grips get loose for some reason I'm going to loctite the bushings in there.
  7. I agree with this. My cousin isn't letting her kid's do the whole Santa thing. I feel like the kids are missing out, I mean I remember being so excited my heart was pounding as I ran down the stairs at 3-4AM. Anyway I told my cousin she was Communist for doing this. That didn't fly well, but I still call her Stalin.

    RUGER SR 1911

I have seen one, in a gun case... not for sale.
  9. Bought these Operator II off of a member here. I am very satisfied with the feel and look. I had a hell of a time taking the screw bushings out. They look like they went through a meat grinder by the time I got done with them. The screws that are in the gun are the cheap stock ones. I am so surprised at how easily the paint chipped off of them. I will get hex screws soon (I just don't know if I want black or silver). Also have some of you 1911 guys had trouble with getting the stock bushings off for the first time? It seems as if there was some type of glue holding them down. The first one I tried came out easy and the other three were a struggle to say the least. Before: After:
  10. Once or twice a year I run 110 octane. Other than that it is BP, Shell, or Texaco/Chevron "Hi-Test" as my dad still calls it lol. Also I believe GM's OBD is your last 20 key starts. I can't remember exactly...

    3 Gun

Most of my friends use a 9mm. Here is what I think would be the best (except for the wallet)
  12. Go watch it. I was saying I liked Lord of War.
  13. Also most of these products that are made to protect from the law, make their products too. So to me it is kind of a "Scam".
  14. One word, Jammers. 99.9% of the detectors just inform you that you are about to get tickets. On the other hand I do not drive like an a-hole. I do tend to go a little over but nothing outrageous. Now in Georgia I never, ever go over 85 anymore. This is due to the "Super Speeder Law" which is a new fine that slaps a cool $200 on top of your ticket fine.
  15. Yeah I just want one for the pure joy of ownership and shooting. If they could only talk.
  16. Nice little collection. I bet it isn't easy to shoot at all with those tiny sights.
  17. They think the criminal/p***y took his own life.
  18. Which will obviously keep more guns away from the bad guys. Oh wait...
  19. It would be fun to shoot at.... I do not have the time nor the patience for this.
  20. I posted earlier one of these earlier year, which turned out to be a scare. This unfortunately is not. Police Officer Shot On Virginia Tech's Campus, Gunman Sought | Fox News
  21. You forgot Lord of War.
  22. I kind of want to see this especially since Daniel Craig is one of my favorite actors due to Bone and my personal favorite movie L4yer Cak3. Whenever I get to see Cowboys and Aliens I will go into it with the attitude of, "This movie will be mediocre at best".
  23. I'm not a fan of the flared magwell but to each is their own. Besides that it is a beautiful gun!!! I eventually want to get a Sig 1911, the R1 does it's job for now. As everybody always says, "Buy Wilson Combat 47d or Chip McCormick Magazines". Said rightfully so at that, I never have problems with either of mine. The stock mags mess up every now and then, FTF.
  24. Would this be a true drop in piece? I have seen you need to do some sculpting with Wilson Combat. I can't seem to find anybody that has done it or where to buy that part from Remington(or the hammer, which I think I am going with WC anyway). I don't have any problem finder other company's beavertails/triggers. Maybe they just don't sell them? I'll continue my hunt while I procrastinate. Any help is appreciated.
  25. This is one of the reasons, if not the main one, my Grandfather served on the USS Yorktown (CV-10). Along with a whole bunch of other family members. ~Salute~.
