  1. haha sounds like a great day!
  2. You all need to do another get together, but unfortunately it will have to be somewhere else. The Shrimp Dock closed up :-( (Maybe Tony Gores BBQ?)
  3. not too shabby
  4. good deal m&p get yours workin then do mine :-D
  5. SIG Store For those that didnt get the email this combo goes on sale on Dec 14th for $199.95 Unfortunately only fits the Sig rail system.
  6. Thats pretty cool.
  7. I live about a mile or so away and it shook my house.
  8. I HATE EM!
  9. Mines posted up for sale in the classifieds :-D
  10. awesome...this is probably what the M&P9c ordered :-D
  11. Tex...if you get yours workin let me know what you'll charge me to fix mine :-D Im not very mechanically inclined and right now my gun still shoots lol.
  12. Good info...not terribly surprising unfortunately.
  13. Sounds like someone is going to owe me some vendor food when we get there....either that or bring a pallet of snacks Also if anyone is interested in my many firearms I have currently up for grabs on here please call my phone number listed in my sig line asap so I can set that stuff aside for the trip.
  14. Troy Industries Rails are on sale at www.aimsurplus.com They also have the ever popular CMMG .22 conversion on sale also.
  15. hahaha good stuff
  16. I dont think the Alloy Kimbers are supposed to use mags with metal followers.
  17. Thats good to know, i never even checked that out...but I do have 6 12rd mags for things that go "bump in the night"
  18. Hes a good guy, have him let you shoot his Rare P229 while your there ;-D
  19. Bubba, The Kahr CW9 9mm(7+1) is a great gun, but keep in mind it has a much more limited capacity then the M&P9c(12+1)...as far as concealibility its slim frame does make it slightly easier to conceal imho. Bubba where do you live? I have a M&P9c we could probably set something up if your close by.
  20. That guns a beauty, congratulations! i will chime in and say im not a fan of Kimber mags either, though I have had good luck with metal form and McCormick...im thinking about trying some of the C-Products mags too.
  21. You think they are going to slowly phase out the standard XD line? Thats where I see this heading.
  22. Im pretty sure its actually $12.00 It recently went up(?). $530 for new doesnt sound too bad though, but then again I buy my guns like I buy my cars (used) 99% of the time. To me it doesnt make sense to take a loss when you can buy one slightly used and it looks/functions the same as a new one for in the M&P's case $80 less. I dont know about you but I can find a lot of other things to spend $80 on (like ammo or extra mags). I know there is a certain mystique about a "virgin" gun, but when it comes down to it most quality guns that havent been abused(which is really easy to check for) can be cleaned to "new condition" and most people could never tell the difference. just my $.02
  23. I had the Cheaper CW9 and it was an excellent gun, I would like to own another Kahr one of these days. Jeff...I think you will like it.
  24. I wasnt trained, but I do carry everything the same way with the same mindset(if you can't reach it, its worthless).
