  2. You didn't say where in Maine you were headed... The L.L. BEAN store in Freeport is amazing (open 24 hours as I recall). Acadia national park is also a treasure. And the oceanside steamed lobster in bar harbor is quite delicious. ---- Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG) P6 /// Ruger Target 10/22

  17. Not sure how they handle things down in Florida, but it seems strange that they would post the 911 tapes http://www.sanfordfl.gov/index.html right on the city's website for a case that is drawing so much attention - and more inportantly, in an ongoing investigation... Is this standard practice here in TN and can you find 911 tapes as a matter of public record for any cases here? hmmmmmm.... On Monday, the city of Sanford released a statement in which it condemned what it called "unauthorized leaks," but confirmed that the newspaper account "is consistent with the information provided to the State Attorney's office by the Police Department."
  18. I was talking to a shotgun range owner in Arkansas who told me that they put a type of landscaping sheet down on the burm to make collecting the lead for recycling easier. He also said that money was going to be a significant part of his business plan. ---- Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG) P229 and P6 /// Ruger Target 10/22

  20. As an attorney, he should be for guns and all other controversial things that seem to be involved in litigation. That's what allows lawyers to drive their fancy cars and whatnot.
  21. Well said Bryan!
  22. I looked at the "class" as a good first step toward what I hope will be a long educational journey with firearms... Most of the teachers out there have some good stories to tell.
  23. I bet Charlie would be up for some private range time on a Thursday. Maybe??? Couldn't hurt to ask next time I'm there in Williamson county.
