  1. TripleDigitRide - u r a HOOT! Great guy!
  2. Todd - I do appreciate your clarification.
  3. I'll admit I am not a total WM fan, but neither does that make me a liberal or a socialist . . .
  4. That's good, Major Pain . . . LOL
  5. Thanks, TripleDigitRide. My greatest problem with the World of Wallace is how they have totally forsaken their "Made in the USA" campaign, which was a major advertising/merchanding issue for them not so many years ago. An industry leader such as WM could lead to a greater emphasis for all companies to spotlight items made in our country. But the need to make a profit and enrich China overwhelms the need to help the US.
  6. I see said the blind man to the deaf woman . . . thanks!
  7. Yeah . . . I plan to go as the Hunchback of Notre Dame . . .
  8. May also be accessed here: [ame]http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3836296181471292925[/ame]
  9. Just notice this was moved . . . I apologize if I posted it in the wrong place.
  10. Thanx for the tip - back when I lived in NC, some of my friends on the NCHP talked about "Flitz" and I totally forgot about it until your mention of it. Any idea where you can get it or should I just look on the net? BTW . . . welcome, tn hp
  11. Okay . . . okay . . . I'm the one that raised the question in the first place. And since everyone thinks I shouldn't shoot a .380, I've decided on this instead:
  12. When I sent it to the other work at S&W, I asked about some "clean up" and the gunsmith called to tell me that the gentleman in charge was out with a heart attack and it would be quite some time before I would get the gun back, so I elected not to do anything then. Good point . . . if nothing comes up here, I should reinvestigate that.
  13. My 686 2.5" in stainless steel is looking a bit ragged. I bought it second hand; has a few minor rust spots on it. BTW . . . I sent it back to S&W, had the hammer "bobbed" and the action smoothed - very cheap and returned very fast. Something for you S&W fans to think about. Anyone have any suggestions on how to clean it up or some type of new refinish job? As always, thanks for the feedback of all the good folks here - I genuinely appreciate all of you and all that I learn from you.
  14. Molonlabetn - is there ANYTHING you don't have knowledge of? You always have a helpful comment no matter what the comment!
  15. Let's take up an offering and buy him a BB pistol. Oh . . . bad idea; he'll put his eye out and sue all of us!
  16. Thank you for your appreciation . . . bad jokes still bring a smile. And in this day of $4.00 a gallon gas, we still need a smile - at least I DO!
  17. LOL on the sauerkraut . . . maybe on your birthday you can get wienerschnitzel to go along with it with some good German beer!
  18. *going to throw out that JHPs into which I dropped curare and covered with wax*
  19. That's great! My hometown NEEDS it! Great news!
  20. Remembering that I am a wheelgunner, an S&W J frame is what my wife shoots - she is going to take class for her HCP soon.
  21. I have a cordless mouse now and HATE it, but like its flexibility. This looks like a real alternative.
  22. Great pics! Congrats on your weight loss!
  23. I now have something to have bad dreams about . . .
