  1. maybe this is why when i was in Indiana I married a Tennessee woman thanks for all the input guys
  2. I recently moved to Tennessee from Indiana, what do I need to know about Campbell County and Tennessee gun laws so I do not end up in hot water. I am waiting to get into a handgun course to get my Indiana LTCH transfered to a Tennessee HCP. What is this class all about? Where can I carry and where can i not carry in Tennessee? I know that places that post per Tenn. Code but what places are off limits? Thanks for all that can help.
  3. You should look at the gun laws in Illinois. You cannot even carry in the Chicago area. They also do not reconize any permit from any state. Now that is .... messed up.
  4. I'm no lightweight myself and don't carry IWB, the only holster they had at the time that fir was a Blackhawk Hip Holster size number 8. It has the retention strap that is adjustable. The good thing is it also fits my mp9c. Its nice light weight. only draw back is its belt slide not a paddle holster.
  5. yeah it replaced my m&p9c as a carry weapon. i love the trigger on this one too. i have all the apex setus on my 9c but this one is just wonderful. shoots like a dream. and for just under $400 you can't go wrong.
  6. it's a nice gun. i got mine the day it was announced(4-12-2012). the shop just got it off the delivery truck. its a nice choice you won't regret it. mine:
  7. i was told by my dealer that even the sigmas are coming in boxes now...only the higher end smiths are plastic cases now. the sigmas , bodyguards, most are boxes now. its cost saving he said.
  8. check this video. its about the best review and comparison i've seen kinda disappointed it comes in the same 'box' as the bodyguard series. - cardboard - not the plastic of old days. feels pretty good. have not had a chance to get it out for a test drive yet. it's more handable/concealable than the mp9c i have.
  9. the funny thing is about these the serial numbers start woth "ZOM...." someone at ruger really went into this big time. it's not engraved its paint it will wear. and then what? just a plain ol' LCP
  10. i got one today. $416 out the door. its great. alot better than the regualar m&p9c. about the same except slimmer and the trigger is really improved. the gun shop just got it in. they had to "add" it to thier inventory before they could do anything. it was not even logged in yet. they started shipping wednesday what the guy told me.
  11. the stiple gives it a nice grip feeling, not slippery and no add on grips. i like it better than the rtf on my gen 4.
  12. it's a custom job done by nashgunwerx. he did the color and the stiple. his site --> http://stippledgrip.com/
  13. custom stipple & paint job anyone have any thoughts good or bad?
  14. i had the cpx-1 which about the only difference is the thumb safety. they removed it due to serious issues (safety engaging while firing being the main one). the gun was the most problematic gun i owned. i had feed issues , eject issues regardless of the ammo i used. i don't know about the cpx-2 but i've seen them for $229...i would rather have a lcp or tcp for that price. but just my $.02
  15. thanks for the input. i guess i'll just leave it and add the black one to the collection.
  16. i recently acquired a smith m&p 15-22 talo edition in platinum pink. it was a deal i could not refuse. ok now i have a delema. should i leave as it is since it's a talo special or should i duracoat it another color? i mean how manly is a pink rifle? of course i think it could have a tactical advantage, while the baddie is laughing at the pink gun i have a better op to shoot.....lol.
  17. im looking to get involved in a gunshop or gunshow set up.i have capitol for investment.looking for either a partner to start up or to invest in a current set up.if anyone is interested please let me know.thanks.
