  1. Thank You! I sent him the links. He mentioned that he had purchased 2 of these magazines in the past from some websites, but for some reason they wouldn't work. He was trying to explain why they wouldn't work, but I didn't quite understand. I guess it was something to do with a notch or tab or something on the magazine that was preventing it from working properly. He did mention he paid sixty-something dollars for them, but couldn't recall the site where he purchased them.
  2. I'm at work, so I haven't had a chance to search the Interwebs. My boss is looking for at least one magazine for his K31. Anyone have one or know where he can buy one? I'm in Middle Tennessee and he's in Memphis, so if anyone in these areas has one, a deal may be able to be worked out. Thanks in advance.
  3. I think Ribeye steaks are from the less fatty end of the rib roast, and Prime Rib steaks are from the fattier end.
  4. Thanks! Wonder if I can get a semi near his location. I'll check it out.
  5. What and where is that? I'll be in Murfreesboro tomorrow.
  6. I've seen Prime Rib roasts, but never thought about asking the meat department for special cuts. I'll do that. I'm going to be cooking Valentine Day dinner, and only need a couple nice steaks, but sounds like I may need to buy the roast and have it cut.
  7. Does anyone know where I can buy Prime Rib STEAKS (not roast), other than a restaurant? I can't recall ever seeing Prime Ribe steaks in the local grocery stores, but maybe I'm wrong. By the way, this needs to be in the Middle Tennessee area.
  8. Man, that does sound like a very fast return. Hopefully that worked. Stll kinda ****ty of them to make you pay for shipping on a warranty issue.
  9. This official notice is to inform all TGO members to turn all firearms over to TripleDigitRide witin 72 hours. I strongly request all members comply with official notice.
  10. You can get great products for great prices from lesser-known companies. This usually boils down to advertising costs. When a company spends millions and millions on advertising, the money must be recouped from somewhere, and that's usually the consumer. I'm a fan of custom-built computers, but that's hardly necessary for the average user.
  11. Welcome to Tennessee and TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  12. Yeah, I'm more of a stainless fan when it comes to 1911's, but that's just me. In my experiences, the stainless continues to look good for a longer period of time.
  13. Other than the Parkerized finish, sounds like a good enough choice.
  14. Go Cowboys!
  15. Yea, I just got done reading The FBI Sucks at Photoshop.
  16. YouTube - Bushmaster M4 Assault Rifle (rubberband trick)
  17. I've seen the same thing done with a regular rubberband. One of the thicker rubberbands.
  18. That's what Rightwinger and I were talking about. I had one planned for last fall, but due to the poor weather, it never happened. We will put together another ride for the spring.
  19. Yeah, I was just thinking about that. Haven't figured out when, though.
  20. FOXNews.com - Health Care Mandate Applies to All -- Except the Amish Health Care Mandate Applies to All -- Except the Amish Most Americans would have to prove they have insurance or face a fine under the health reform legislation that is now nearing the finish line in Congress, but at least one group won't have to worry, on religious grounds. Democrats are planning to exempt the Amish and similar religious groups from the health insurance mandate in the final health care bill. That's because when the Amish need medical care, they go to regular doctors and hospitals and pay in cash often with financial help from their church and neighbors. They rely on each other, not the government or insurance companies as a tenet of their faith. "The Amish believe it's the fundamental responsibility of the church to care for the material needs of the members of the church," said Steven Nolt, a professor at Goshen College who has written books on the Plain community of Amish. "And so they don't buy commercial health insurance and they don't participate in public assistance programs." So while most Americans would be required to sign up with insurance companies or government insurance plans, the church would serve as something of an informal insurance plan for the Amish. Law experts say that kind of exemption withstands scrutiny. "Here the statue is going to say that people who are conscientiously opposed to paying for health insurance don't have to do it where the conscientious objection arises from religion," said Mark Tushnet a Harvard law professor. "And that's perfectly constitutional." This would not be the first time the Amish received this type of special accommodation. Congress exempted this and other communities from Social Security and Medicare taxes since 1965 for the same religious reasons. But if the Amish can opt out, then some civil libertarians say they want out, too -- not for religious reasons but because they don't think the underlying health insurance mandate is legal. "If they can do it for religious objection, well, I have a different type of objection," said Ilya Shapiro, a senior fellow in constitutional studies at the libertarian Cato Institute said. "I think I'm being coerced into doing something against my will, and so the challenge would be from a different perspective."
  21. Since we were not invited, sharing the honeymoon photos/videos is required.
  22. I got mine out for a couple hours yesterday, and again today. Was a little chilly without the cold weather gear, but it was still enjoyable.
  23. This is the show that was once held at the 'Expo' in Smyrna. I've never been in the new building in Murfreesboro, but I have a customer directly across the street, and it looks like a large building from the outside.
  24. Sounded like a politician. He's so full of it. Needed a police escort to the airport. Ha! Ha!
