Also like my Supertuck...I use Bravo Concealment for OWB kydex holsters...they sit close to the body also and could be used with an untucked shirt or pullover/coat...

ended up getting a SOE micro rig and h harness....will most likely pickup a hydration carrier from them by the end of the year...

i like the stacked mag rig, but the micro was more realistic for what i would use it for....

that's why i got the micro...basic for what i want and can add a hydro carrier in a couple months...don't think range usa will have another class till next year...but i have a friend with land that might let me setup a course that will allow me to practice some run and gun...

yep, SOE...looking to take a class through range usa and then move on to tactical response or similar instruction...

Just ordered an M4 rig w/ med pouch...now I can get ready for my fighting rifle class...I should have ordered a helmet to protect my melon when my wife gets out the frying pan...lol

i've already been looking at that website. i've camped shelby forest enough since i've lived in memphis most of my life. hunted chickasaw as a kid. we will probably hit up something along or south of the I40 corridor, but east of nashville this time around. basically just looking for input from people that would have already been to some of these places, mainly for input on the bathhouses, etc. thanks for everyone's input, it is appreciated

I think that type of sub forum would do well. We are looking to tent camp, but are looking for facilities (showers, etc) and not just a dirt square and a fire pit. Hopefully we can progress to that at some point, but it ain't happenin' any time soon...

not so much worried about the hiking, just looking for a more "user friendly" camping area since i don't think my wife is ready to primitive camp for several days straight...looked at BSF and FCF also and will check out Tims Ford....thanks for the info...

My wife and I are looking to camp several days next month and were looking for some places to day hike and be back at camp to sleep overnight. About as far east in TN as we have camped is Mousetail. Saw this place online and looked interesting to explore. Not looking for primitive camping so any of those suggestions can be weeded out. Any personal input on this place or other similar campgrounds are appreciated. Thanks guys...

i have had good luck with CRKT, at least in pocket folders...they held their edges for longer than some of the others ive had...

i have a small nebo light i picked up at the range a few months back that i carry everyday...eyeballing the 5.11 atac 2 also...

Thanks for the info. I have ordered a couple of things from John and had no issues. Maybe the horror stories are put to bed. As far as his online shenanigans, I can't really blame him for calling people out that order and then don't pay. I would be pretty pissed if I spent time making something for a person who then didn't pay for the goods I spent my time on. I guess thats just a matter of perspective ...
