    Smith 642

I great gun, although I prefer the 442 (blue version). Very realiable and easy to conceal, depending on how she would carry. Not easy to master, it does take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it is very accurate.
  2. I think you may have it all figured out by now, but I'm chime in any way. 1) You cannot only buy old surplus guns and have them shipped to your door, but any commercially manufactured gun over 50 years old. 2) Correct. 3) No, the C&R license is strictly for personal use. 4) Nope. You are allowed to dispose of items in your collection. 5) The C&R license is to maintain one's personal collection, not to buy guns for other people. That could be considered business or even a straw purchase in the eyes of the law and spirit of the license.
  3. Well, Jess01999 got up there before sunrise. I came along about 10 and mr.ak47 showed up shortly after that. Had a great time.
  4. You must have a new one?

    Torture Testing

Torture tests are great, if like Glock23ForMe said, someone else is picking up the tab. In some ways I agree, they often don't mean alot to me.
  6. You people need a support group and I mean the kind that encourages you not to do something.
  7. I might try to make it even though I already can't stand the thought of cleaning a gun tomorrow afternoon, much less preparing to go. If I'm there, then the party's on, otherwise you guys will just have to entertain yourselves.
  8. That pilot wouldn't think it was so funny after I smacked 'em upside the head.
  9. You sir, are a genius.
  10. I really, really want some Chili right now.
  11. That's like yelling "Fire" in a crowded movie theater around here.
  12. Early voting results are being released. In Knox County Haslam is destroying all competition. Big surprise. Wamp 2nd, Ramsey a distant 3rd. As predicted.
  13. OK, you lost me on that one.
  14. I knew you'd be along when Skyline got dissed. Thanks for playing.
  15. Typically 8 pm but I have no idea in your area.
  16. That Cincinnatti chocolate gruel.
  17. Just finshed "Carved in Bone" by Jefferson Bass (Dr. Bill "Body Farm" Bass from UT and some guy named Jefferson) last night and started in on "Flesh and Bone", the second in the series. Great read if you are interested in forensic science. I had the pleasure of taking a class from Dr. Bass during my career at UT. It's all about ET, especially the goings-on in a thinly-veiled Cocke County (Cooke in the book). Jefferson Bass - The Official Website
  18. Going to vote this afternoon.
  19. I really, really wish you would. That goes for everyone else. On topic: Like others have said...keep your job.
  20. Of course.
  21. Well good riddance to ya. Just kidding. Sorry things haven't worked out for you here in the motherland and wish you the best. Check Maryland laws before hauling any guns up there. They are, uh...strict.
  22. I don't associate ripping and tearing with "traditional" hedonism. Hedo Rick's got some on his mind.
  23. Code? Is that what you call your woman? What does she call you? Puzzle?
  24. Shooting steel is great fun, especially when you do it with a rifle.
