Has anyone come across any .45ACP ammo yet? Besides Rem UMC
Google Palmetto State Armory. They have some Tula (Wolf) steel-case stuff at a decent price.

I think you've got a great idea! Do you have the support of other parents at the school? You might need that.
Contact the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). They may be able to help you out. It's what they do.
-
Have never tried that particular mag, but if you really want one Google about for a much better price. Will stick out of grip. Not flush.

Honestly, I'm not sure who Charlie Gibson is but am surpised to hear a "Journalist" admit ignorance.

The target is an NRA B-27 as OhShoot posted, as politically correct as it is.
It really is a human-sized piece of paper. You should have no problems qualifying.

If that's a USP 40 with clean title I'd say it is a great deal.

Good old Hoppe's # 9 has worked for me. Won't come right off but just put a little on the problem, wait a few minutes, wipe and repeat.
-
I cannot accept this.
-
I should be able to make this one. Any idea as to time?
How about 1 pm? Can someone second the motion?
Don't worry about that being too early if you have Church plans. We're usually there all afternoon!

They've been making plain M&M's since 1941.
Why mess with perfection?
What's next vanilla mocha almond amaretto cinnamon blueberry bananna latte Reese's?

If I hit the Powerball tonight:
MG 42
MP 40
BAR

M2
Then just one of everything else.

Thanks. I really want to know if Walker Springs still has an active spring, and whether the water will melt your face off or not.
For that you may want to call the City of Knoxville Engineering department (Stormwater Division) if in the city, Knox County Engineering & Public Works (Stormwater) if county. They may or may not know, but have people who could find out.
If you have concerns of face-melting call neither.

Does anyone know where I can find GOOD hydrology maps?
TVA or contact the Geography department at UT.

3. I do dry fire often, because it's really entertaining. Unfortunately, the control I see in my living room isn't making it to the range.
It's a lot different when the gun is loaded and heavier than dry firing at home. I'm steady as a rock practicing, but when that thing is loaded and a bunch of other people are shooting things change.
My advice, which I never seem to follow, is to be relaxed while shooting. That Wheel of Destiny target is all about what happens when not relaxed. Relax your grip, trigger finger, etc. The gun will not jump out of your hand and scores will improve.
-
You may try this target, or at least study it. This "Wheel of Destiny" only has 9 corrections but I've seen ones with more. It's a great help.

I got bored and ran across a 7 page "jokes" thread on another forum i frequent. If I struck a nerve on someone, sorry. It wont bother me a bit if you add me to your ignore list and have ALL my threads disappear from your view.
I know some people enjoyed some of them and some really didnt like them.
Hey, it's all good stuff, just a lot of it.

Glad you Nashville fellas get to buy ammo at Wally World. Doesn't last more than a couple of hours in Knoxville - if it even makes it to the shelves.
Haven't seen a box of .45 around here in months. Not to mention .22 bulk packs.
Got tons of 9mm & .40 though.

I was seriously considering posting a thread with the same name!
He's been on a roll. All day.

Enough jokes today.

I'll be there Saturday before the game. To best answer your question ; most of the dealers there will have comparable prices to what you would see in their store, remember, on top of their normal overhead they now have to include the price of their table and any travel expenses in the price of their guns.
The real deals are from individuals who bring a gun to sell, sometimes you might happen upon someone needing cash and get a very good deal but be careful, a lot of the old timers standing around out front know more about firearms than you, me and the good Lord put together. I enjoy going to the shows just to watch these guys and maybe happen across a good deal
There are also some local dealers that only sell at shows for a much better price than what you can find from many of this area's stores. At least one or two that I know of.
I'll be there at 9 with my TGO hat on.
Nice thing about Expo shows is you can escape the crop-dusting. Rapidly.
-
I'm there but it's gonna freak SUNTZU out.
-
I'll be there Saturday at 9. Gonna get it out of my system before the football games start.
Is it worth it? Yes, depending on what you're looking for. If you're in the market for a new handgun then you will find a deal.

Formerly SKYY. Do some Googlin' on that. You might not like what you find. FYI, I personally have no experience with them.
